    Default Ebay as referer....?

    Hi,
I noticed a strange thing. Since a few days ebay appears as referer in my analytics and I get users (bots?) to my site...?

The link they come from is: http://aup.corp.ebay.com/ppaupx/myqueue/myqueue.html (Always different user/bot countries, ip, browser agents.) These IPīs are nowhere marked as bot ipīs. Strange thing is, that it seems that they really surf on my website because they refresh sites etc...

First I thought maybe anybody wants to sell my website on ebay, but there is no ebay listing.

Does anybody know about this referer? I have no idea...

Its going to be curious. I received the following email today to my WHOIS email adress

    Dear Ms./Mr,

Greetings. We are promoting online-shopping platform, thus we are collecting text links that cover a range of niches. We find out you own this wonderful site : mywonderfulsite.com.

We need static links ( combined with anchor text and url) on homepage. The links should be built manually without use of any software, and be free of code like <,js>, <,no follow>, < ,Flash > or <,Iframe>.

If you provide such service, I hope you can send us quotation for per link per quarter or per link per month. It will be appreciated provided that you own more sites and send us your list.

Please feel free to ask me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you ASAP.

    Sincerely,
I dont sell any links on this site but would be very interested in to know if that is really a request from ebay lol

I sometimes see 'Amazon' as a referrer to my betting site no idea how that happens unless they have a search platform?
