My thought is I am not putting it on line, not copying the data to sell something, and not using the data as my own. That to me is a difference. I have actually wrote a few ebooks myself, and yes, when others "give away" something you sell, hurts sales. I looked ta it as cost of doing business, or "breakage" factor. Just saldy is so much junk out there, an no refunds possible, I decided on my own I share copies of books I see are good, Plus mna webmatser are really dumb, not good at protecting what they sell on line, here is a fun example:

Any ebook worth its salt would be pass word protected in this day and age.
