I just stumbled on one of these today (dated 9-24-14)

I asked them to remove my information. All they are doing is scraping whois information and republishing that along with our metas and titles etc.

I suggested if they continued the practice with my sites without my permission, I would disavow their links.

Currently, after taking a look around your site I see that you are republishing metas, and titles and other things (from other people's websites) without their permission.

You are also republishing whois information, and although that in itself is only borderline grey area, that information is NOT there to publish on websites for anything OTHER than whois.

ICANN Policy is actually very clear on that.

Then you continue to use this method to contact people to try and sell them advertising for their websites, but never ask to republish their information such as metas, descriptions, titles or anything else that is proprietary and written by the webmasters.

The fact that you are soliciting people based upon their whois information and whois contact info alone is a violation of ICANN Policy.

I received a mail this morning that a domain I own has been listed on this site.

This is a domain only. There is no site developed. Not even one page. The screen shot is of my domain provider. However I'm offered to pay 19.99 a month for ad space.

Looking around I see some of my other sites listed.

I can remove you email and / or your domain, just by asking me
I have replied to the email and also pm here to remove my sites asap.

    Sorry to hear that Roberto.

If in fact your email is:
webmaster, hostmaster, info, sales, tech, support there is little you can do to stop the spam from coming in huge numbers since those are the most common emails to get spammed to all domains in existence.

I encourage anyone NOT to use those.

    Any others to logically add?

10,000 is way out of line for sure, and I would think your host has also taken notice since at the pace, no matter how big the host they have probably recognized the bandwith that over a quarter million a month spams delivers.

I caught some webmaster accounts getting close to those numbers at a few domains many years ago and I stopped using webmaster@ from that day forward. The day I made the change one of them was breaking the 6000 per day mark and made those accounts totally useless.
