I always though the code and affiliate link had to match for a player to redeem it....Am I wrong to think this?

Sydney, from a legal perspective, I believe it is correct for you to consider bonus codes to be the copyrighted material of the webmaster initially publishing them. So, republishing them in not substantially different from copying articles in terms of infringing the intellectual property rights of others.

That means that I believe it is appropriate to republish them only with the explicit permission of the owner of the bonus code. That will be even more true when the bonus code includes a trademark of the webmaster who originally published the bonus code.

Just like in the case for articles, there is no right to republish the article by taking actions that the person who republishes it feels is reasonable. The person whose material is being republished has to agree that whatever actions are given in return are acceptable from their perspective.

I know there are times when the code used will override the affiliate link.

    Hi Anthony and Michel.
    Thank you for your understanding.
Unfortunately this fishy guy does not understand anything.
I would advise him to make deals with his porn site as xxhttps://twitter.com/candycok.
Also he could sell to the mentally sicks those freaks who build and calls them paintings. He understands what I mean.
It's so paranoid that he had created at least ten fake profiles on his blog and talking to himself. It's so ridiculous that makes posts with fake profiles and then says "hello" and "goodmorning" to his own fake profiles also.

I know so much about this man that I hope he does not causes me more.
The fact is that he things that he is fooling everyone.
He continues to steal exclusive codes even today by everyone. Even from you too....
Mr Anton (or Sydney or Sid or Wodan or dopicomama or Candycok or.........) is hiding behind false names and publishing everything he wants. He is not interesting about anyone else except himself.

    Thank you for your feedback
I'll try to check in more detail all the submitted promo codes
Also, I always respond to the requests that arrive

In addition, I plan to advertise for free, all the gambling sites which have a promo code ( exclusive reviews for gambling sites )
I think it would be beneficial to owners of game sites
Also include the site itself next to the promo code
Cause at the moment, the network hundreds of gaming sites, and it's just not realistic to manually check every coupon

    Best Regards
    Syd

I lost enough time with you Mr Anton (... Sydney...). Really you're a terrible liar. Even speculated that another did the page in twitter that belongs to you! As others steal the job of affiliates. Not you and ONLY YOU. Who is normal or un-normal and who has "normal acts" will judge at the near future. You know, some habits do not end but repeated.
I hope you put your mind and do not most other errors.
I'm very sorry for the time that I have lost with you.

    Hi,

Just to clarify also... our bonus codes can only be used with the tracker they have been created on. No code will function from another tracker and in the case someone uses it (including its tracker) will be credited to the affiliate who owns the tracker and the code.

    Hi Clara,
We know that this happens with our Affactive exclusive codes and in some other programs. I've talked about with Rick at the past. Unfortunately, this does not happen in all affiliate programs. In any case, thank you for your interest. Eventually we found a solution and the fact is over.
Thanks to GPWA and to everyone who email to us for his/her help.

    Although this post is old,
We are constantly experiencing sites scraping exclusive content from our site on a daily basis.
And by daily basis I mean visitors refreshing our site every 15-30 minutes checking for new content.
Once they see new exclusive content, they immediately copy it to their sites.
I'v been able to track down their IP's and block them, but they keep changing IP's and coming back from anonymous proxies.

I won't go into shaming of specific sites, but be warned !

    MegaFreeChips,

This is not real visitors to the site but a bot or scraper application that is spidering and pulling the content, likely into a database.

If you can determine whether it is a unique user agent, or any other identifying information that is unlike a standard browser agent, you might be able to block that way.

As a side note, if you end up determining any of this scrapped content ends up on a GPWA Private Member's site, please notify me directly (privately) so we may take appropriate action here.

    Hey Rick,
Actually I also thought at first it's a bot, as I wouldn't expect a real-user to obsessively scrape a site like this, it really looked automated.
However, I closely monitored this user's IP, interactions, heat-maps and some custom events - and I was able to approve it's (surprisingly) a real user.
Furthermore, it has valid UA and browser details.
Anyway, although he keeps coming back from different proxies - at the moment I'm not worried, as I manage to block him properly with my security layer...
Will take your side-note to my attention .
    Thanks Rick

Bots can easily be written to appear as browser user-agents and in fact some default to that.

I would be interested to know what the "custom events" are that lead you to assume it is a user and not scripted as I am always intrigued by such.
