    Default Finally got Google Chrome

So while working on my new site and adding a bunch of free flash games for visitors I decided to check how everything looked on all the main browsers.

On IE the games dont show up as well as some other text.

On Firefox I am missing a plug in but none are available. ( wtf )

On Google Chrome the entire site is perfect and everything runs well.

Google Chrome is faster, better and less errors then any other browser

Firefox has a forum with over 105,798 bug posts. Enough with Firefox don't ya think?

Download it now and save your mind from going crazy with the next firefox update.

Yeah Chrome is really decent I just wish they had allot more plugins available. But it is fast and decent and simple to use. Yet I still use firefox - hard to switch over.

Yeah Chrome is a really nice browser But anyway, I think it's very important to develop the site for cross-browsers compatibility.

But it's very hard and annoying job sometimes...

I might give Chrome another try now. I downloaded Chrome when it was first released and did not find it superior to Firefox at that time. But now I am hearing from several folks it's their browser of choice.

Firefox keeps crashing for me, so I use Chrome for most things. It's much faster, but can be a pain in the arse when it crashes and then doesn't work properly again until you restart the computer.

Having said that, I much prefer using firefox for when monkeying around with firebug over the chrome equivalent.

I also have IE open most of the time with my personal email.

So a lot of the time I have all three open

Another vote for Chrome. Technically it's vastly superior, and that helps you get your work done faster. Usually anyway

Also the lack of plugins is good, more plugins = slower browser... Less plugins, more productivity. And when you really need to do something special you can still start up plugin-heavy Firefox...

I have FF and Chrome just in case. Until they make files be downloaded temporarily, like .torrent ones and then upon execution deleted I wont ever consider them. Not to mention that I do like better the FF reads the whole css and I like my statusbar. I even downloaded an addon for FF when they removed it.

Thanks for the Google Chrome download link Pumacat. I experienced some problems with FF since our blog pages weren't rendering 100% in FF, after I downloaded GC no problems.

When you download Chrome it won't force you to use it as default and Firefox will still be installed so you can just use whichever you like Firefox/Chrome as the mood takes you Plugs in pimp up your browser http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plug-in_(computing)

i tried chrome on the mac for a few days last winter, until i found out it didn't work with Blogger's (google's blogging site) editing tools. I immediately felt "how microsoft of them" and haven't tried it since.

I use mostly IE (no surprise there to most of my friends here)

I also use Firefox for testing as well as for one of my web-based mail servers.

As far as speed goes, of all the browsers I have tried, Opera is the fastest.

    See these statistics: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
It's obvious, FireFox is loosing and Chrome is winning in popularity

In one year: FireFox -5% IE -8% and Chrome +13%

    I use firefox and opera.

One thing I do notice is, that it seems opera comes out with new features, or a better layout.. and the rest of the browsers copy it quite quickly.
I use opera for 80% of my usage.
