Hi

My name is Michael, im based in the UK and I've worked in the gambling industry for over 10 years.
This my first effort at a website and affiliate links
The bookmakers reviews will be added to over the next few weeks, i just wanted something up for now.
The sports previews have been written by myself so they will improve with practice

so let me know what you think, i would appreciate any feedback.

Hi Michael and welcome on GPWA, i just checked your website and i feel that need more improvements, maybe some more brands, some more offers, some more content ( which you will do it ) and a social network plug-in, then people will stay more to see what you offer.

I am not a big experienced but this was my first impression, sorry if i cant point directly what website needs

I agree, that slider you have is way too big and it took up nearly three quarters of my page on my laptop. Your main content was therefore below the fold which is not good.

When I was a new affiliate I also tended to go for all the bells and whistles with regard to fancy sliders etc. These big sliders will not help to increase your conversions, instead they slow your page load time down which may force new visitors to abandon your site before the page has loaded completely.

yes the website is still online, im looking a changing a few things though
the top header and adding more to the bookie reviews and resizing a few of the pics.

now it works! yes definitly a very big header when I click on the bet365 freebet offer then I hava new wallpaper same for all other offers. the banner at the bottom is also much too big ... the first impression of the page is that there is a lot of advertisement, IMO it´s too much. Try to focus more on content. Think about what you would like to see on a website. The black font on the background in the header is also not very good to read. Try to use backgrouds with some neutral space for text ... text on images is not a good option. Also some banners are in the wrong size. Further if you want to rank in search engines then you have to write more text. (about 500 words per article) The structure in general is good but make it more clear without that much ads.

all the feedback is really good, like i said in my first post its my first attempt so I've got plenty to learn.

Hello Michael! First off all, welcome to GPWA forum.

I think you must remove animation in header, and header. Design at affiliate gambling website should be minimalist.
Your main target - is send your visitors to bookies. Thats all. Your visitors' attention should not be distracted by the design elements.
This is like real casino. No watches, no windows, no sunlight e.t.c.

at first sight I noticed that all headings are ragged. I don't know if it's a matter of font or resolution. secondly, the last news is without the frame at the bottom in main site, it doesn't look good. and finally, when I clicked on left and right arrows, nothing changed - do they work?

I really like the design... just think that all the images take a lot of space... specially the logos. Maybe reducing those will help it looking good and in the right proportions.

The slider is big indeed, but I like it! The way images change and text appears is very nice. However, I've got a big monitor, so I can see both the slider and the content below. But I think that images used in articles (betting previews) are too big. Remember that people visit websites to read interesting content, not only watch nice images I suggest adding more articles to your website to encourage your visitors to come back.
