    Default Why are direct casino affilite links counted as OBL on Website

    Friends,

    Do you think direct affiliate links on website are counted as OBl on a website, why it is when searching in search engines with exact affiliate casino name it does not shows up the affiliate link but sites promoting the casino are shown bcoz it fetches the title, description etc?

    What are your opinions ?

    ANY link that points to an external website (meaning ANY domain other then the one in the url) would be considered an external link.

    Avdhesh, Avdhesh, Avdhesh...

    What are we going to do with you?

    First you publish this; I have been doing Seo for casino and poker sites from last 3 years, i can provide all the proof, please consider if anyone requires the service.

    here; https://www.gpwa.org/forum/search-en...er-194576.html

    Then you ask a pathetically novice question like this...

    I don't know why I am going to do this, I guess for the real members benefits rather than the posers, but here you go...

    First off - this makes no sense;
    why it is when searching in search engines with exact affiliate casino name it does not shows up the affiliate link but sites promoting the casino are shown bcoz it fetches the title, description etc?
    If you are going to ask a question please attempt to ask it clearly.

    What I think you are asking is
    1. Do outbound links count?
    2. Are title and description a weighted factor with the algorithms?
    3. Can someone teach me basic SEO?

    Here you are;

    1. Yes
    2. Yes and No
    3. Good luck with that

    For the real members; Google says you can't really link sculpt anymore so preserving any PR that you may be hemorrhaging by linking out is a waste of time.

    Of course I think this is a bunch of BS because I have tested this over and over with positive results, before, during and after they said this.

    WHO you link to WILL affect your site, so if the site won't pass a WOT or McAfee site trust test I would nofollow the link and eliminate the risk.

    I think another point worth making is that internal PR sculpting is worth your time. What I mean is I want my internal KW taregted pages to rank, not my 'About Us' or my 'T's&C's pages, so I will nofollow these in my template to preserve my internal PR, or even sculpt it to point at a new product page I just put up and want to rank for.

    HOT TIP Monitor new domains through domaintools for a few bucks. If you are a poker affiliate, monitor and new domains that have the term 'poker' in them. In peticular watch for domain purchases of all the TLD's at once. This is usually a sign someone is going to launch a new poker site soon.

    You can piggy back off of their (usually significant) initial investment into advertising by creating your own page for the brand and sculpting your link juice to it so that it ranks better than theirs (usually). After all, your site is newer and probably already has links and is indexed. Side by side your page/site carries more weight

    Next step - call and ask for an AFFILIATE DEAL

    This message has been brought to you by the letters S, E and O
