You will see this (Screenshot made some minutes ago):

I just logged off and tried myself with the same results. The Club Gold Casino forum does not appear to visitors who are logged out. Is this a "webmaster mistake"?

I confirmed there was a privilege issue that has been corrected. We have been restructuring the forum sections.

I can confirm that my thread

    www.gpwa.org/forum/problem-gambling-based-demand-reinstate-lost-winnings-75k-213175/p11.html

can still be found and accessed ONLY when being logged in to a GPWA account.

Michael will post his findings shortly. Anthony, can you please enable everyone to follow up the thread again?
Michael's findings shall not be visible to GPWA members only. Transparency needs to be available to all.

    Thanks

As of this morning, the "privilege issue" has still not been corrected, as the Club Gold Partners forum still does not show up when not logged in.

The issue has not been corrected until this moment.

For a registered and logged in member

    26 Platinum
    16 Gold
    and
    25 Silver
    sponsor areas are visible.

For a non logged in member, a normal reader e.g. a cheated player or a search engine only

    25 Platinum
    16 Gold
    and
    25 Silver
    sponsor areas are visible.

The Club Gold area is the only area of all sponsors in this forum that will be donated with restrictions to hide it from the public and maybe from search engine view.

No other area was particularly affected or is affected!

    This is a simple fact.

I can tell which way the wind is blowing.

If my feelings are right, then this is an unbelievable increasing of the robots.txt trick in the past with another company. We all know, that trick failed. The pressure at other uncensored places was so big, that they must pay and they have paid!

No serious German forum leader exist anymore who is promoting Club Gold. Quite the contrary, on many places the readers will be warned directly from the leaders and members too. Why? Because they can't blackmail, manipulate or buy these forums. I am very well informed what happened in the background of Casinomeister. So at the end Club Gold will fail, and this is the good news for German and maybe in some months European players.

What Club Gold have done, with this they go into jail under German law! Every German lawyer will confirm that. It's a simple fact too and should demonstrate, that there is a reason to protect people from them.

To put it in a nutshell: It's too dangerous to play there!

And if i am honest, in the 1st moment i saw, what's going on with the Club Gold area i have had a déjà vu with this: https://www.gpwa.org/robots.txt

I can also confirm that when one utilizes the "search our forums" feature, the results (when a person is not logged in) for the search "Club Gold Casino" does not show anything from the "Club Gold Partners" paid sponsor forum.

By comparison, I also searched Bet365, as they too are Platinum Sponsors. Bet365 shows results from within their paid sponsor forum on the query when not logged in.

I then logged in and searched both as a logged in user. Both queries showed results from the sponsored portions of the forum in addition to the other areas.

When I attempt to view the Club Gold Partners area directly (while logged out), I receive the following message

You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

The administrator may have required you to register before you can view this page.
Again, by comparison, I attempted to directly view the Bet365 Affiliates sponsored area of GPWA. I was successful when both logged in and logged off.

The above strongly suggests that search engines are (at the moment) unable to crawl the Club Gold Partners sponsored area of GPWA due to the current privilege settings.

Forum permissions were changed on all of the sponsor forums, the private forums are now not visible unless you are logged in, a couple forums were changed that should not have been. Both Michael and myself thought the other was making the change to CG and of course it became the only public forum that was not listed. It my fault, I should have double checked after my post. By not following up I made things look questionable.

We believe everything is now properly working as intended.

Searches from both logged in and not logged in users now include results from the public forum section for each sponsor. Private members now see search results from private sponsor forums, and sponsor programs now see search results from within their own private forums, but results from those forums are not visible to anyone else.

Also, the public sponsor forums are now all visible to everyone as has always been our intention. But, if someone is not logged in, the presence of all 80 or so of the private sponsor forum sections is now hidden. This was not the case before, and is one of the areas where we decided to make changes. There are also a number of other private member forums that are no longer visible when someone is not logged in.

Normally we would have done an announcement of changes in privileges, but since this round of changes only altered what was visible when someone was not logged in, I didn't think it mattered to do that. Of course, as is well publicized in this thread, we messed up in that process. Leopold found one particularly visible mistake that he pointed out in this thread within about a half day of when it was made, but there were actually a moderate number of issues that we found outside of the public sponsor forums in the process of more carefully reviewing settings over the past day.

    Dear unregistered reader,

as you can see you are welcome to read in the Club Gold area again. Posting just restarted. Don't miss the latest amazing firecracker. It's a must see! You will not believe unless you watch it.

Go to the Platinum sponsor area and scroll down for "C" like Club Gold. Are you wondering? Yes, its true and no error. Platinum section is correct!

I was looking for a post I thought I made in what I had thought was the Paddy Partners "sponsored forum" (complaining about their payments terms) and noticed that Paddy Partners are no longer sponsors here.

Their former sponsored forum shows when I search for posts using GPWA's search function. However, the actual section itself does not show in the archives. I'm not sure if that is intentional or not but figured it could be an additional unintended permission issue and that it was at least worth mentioning. I think the path was intended to be Paddy Partners 2013.

With respect to Paddy Partners, it looks like this was an issue with renaming the forum so its url ended in -2013 when it was archived. We have configured urls in the forums so that a number at the end of a url is used to indicate the url is a forum thread, and the number is the id number of the thread. Using the url naming rules we have in place means we cannot have a forum name end with -number and have the forum still work properly. Thus I believe there has been a problem with this archive since it was created. The bottom line is it does not look like there was a privilege issue in this particular case, and I am working to get this archive fixed today.

In the process of researching this situation, however, I did discover that I was premature in stating all of the forum privilege access issues were fixed. They were fixed with respect to all sponsor programs when I said everything was set yesterday. However, I had neglected to review the archives of former sponsor programs at that time. Today I have identified issues with respect to 29 archived forums and all of their associated threads. We will get those fixed, although it may take a few days.

Just a quick note that the issue reported with the Paddy Partners thread is now fully fixed. I merged the separate forum archives (one created at the end of each of their two periods of being a sponsor) into a single archive. It is located here:
