Free Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) training

I have found a few free training courses which might help other newbies like me to understand SEO practices a little better.
I have found a couple on the Alison dot com, free training website. One is an introduction to SEO and another is Twitter social networking. Has anyone found good useful, free, training elsewhere?

You can check The Moz Blog for interesting SEO articles.

Agree the moz is as well as sitepoint and a few others...I think one key thing to remember when reading some of the many seo blogs and forums is to look at the posting dates of the articles and understand that some times the older articles, as well as those writing about older seo techniques, may be a little misdirected as some of what worked 5 or 8 years ago may be outdated today.

I think it is good to keep an open mind and absorb as much info as possible and base your seo strategy decisions on some of the more common sense aspects and always ask yourself "Is this good for the visitor/reader?"

Thanks for the responses. In addition, but not free, I have found some great material on https://www.udemy.com/ These courses are £9.99 if you wait until their offers come up. Which is about once every 2 weeks. If you add them to your wish list they only reduce them to £14.99

Ok, so here is my 'Free SEO Guide'.

Step 1. Publish 1 article per day.
Step 2. Build 2 links per week

After a year you will rank and tank.

Don't waste your time reading and watching videos. All these overcomplicated bullshit about keyword density, article lenght, bla bla bla. Nowadays there are no tricks. The only SEO trick is to keep going on.

That's because AHREF covers 0.5% of all queries and only for US desktops lol... they are almost as bad as the Alexa and PR duds

For sure! But the critical thing is to select the most rational ones. And the reality is that the ones which come in the first search results page do not mean that those content are helpful. You have to read as much as you can and analyse the similarities. Then think on them by testing.

There are lots of training you could search in google.com especially that blogs that are created by MOZ.
Try those free SEO trainings. at least you'll be able to gain knowledge without putting up much money on tutors.
