Warning: Doyles Room

I have been attempting to get in touch with Doyles Room Affiliate Support for over 2 days now. Their Toll Free Number is disconnected, the email address returns "undeliverable" to me and their online customer (player) support tells me to call the toll free number (that doesn't work) or email them, then rudely disconnect from the conversation without further response.

They posted a cancellation of one of their major tournaments. Anybody have any word if they are still in business or still have an affiliate program?

This doesn't look good at all, sounds like they are in trouble.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the organizers of the Poker and Golf legends event have informed us that the event will be postponed. Due to this, we have paused the "Poker and Golf Legends Contest" promotion and will continue the promotion as soon as the new date for the Poker and Golf Legends event is known.

Just to clarify, Doyles Room emailed affiliates in the middle of September to announce they were shutting off telephone support. They do promise super fast email support though so I am slightly concerned about the delay in responding.

I have emailed their affiliate department to notify of them of this thread. Hopefully they will be along shortly to sort things out for JC. I've always had no problem getting replies to my emails and am sure it is just a glitch.

To the best of my knowledge, the tournament mentioned above is a land based event that Doyles is not responsible for organizing so if the sponsors have delayed the tourney, Doyles is at their mercy and would be forced to pull the promo from their website until new dates are announced.

Lastly, I hope Doyles looks into the poor live support and rectifies the issue immediately. They also need to update the site to reflect the removal of the toll free number and let support know that option is no longer valid.

I guess it boils down to this

I'm pissed because;

I've been busting my A** to get customers to my site(s).

I finally find one that wants to deposit a large sum of cash into a poker game and when I do the Aff Program I want to use returns this crappy customer service.

I told my contact I would email him today with the details and I certainly don't want to lose this opportunity.

I think I will open a SportsBook/Poker Room, give above par customer service to my Affs and steal 80% of the business from the ones out there that crap on their affiliates.

You might try sending an email to Marcella (Marce[at]dbpn.com) and/or Laura in customer service (laura[at]dbpn.com).

I admit that over the past year the email response has been terrible at best. So poor that I have reduced exposure drastically. It used to be a fast turnaround (within hours) now it has come down to days and several emails to them. Shame that it has gone down hill so fast.

I already have another poker room lined up for my whale, if I can't get reasonably good CS I'll go elsewhere.

I'm not sure why your email was bouncing. I tested affiliates@dbpn.com this morning and my mail didn't bounce back.

To be honest, I haven't needed to contact anyone there in months so I don't know how the service has been. Last time I needed them, they were quick and helpful and provided me with some co-branded creatives within a day of requesting them.

Hope things work out for you at any rate. I do agree with Bruce, it's a shame if they're going down hill. We are extremely limited on good US friendly poker rooms, it would be a shame to lose Doyles.

Well I guess the number 10K got someones attention because my emails mysteriously started working and all three reps emailed me back.

Apparently Doyles is still in business

It's a shame you have to threaten Aff programs with near nuclear attack to get them to respond.

I guess I'm just old school when it comes to service and get really miffed at the overall lack of it in this industry.

Didnt realize you we're still around would have said hi since I just got back from San Jose. I have a list of leads that somebody sent me from doyles room with your players, emails, numbers etc..
