Default Funny Spam - Egg on my face!

I had to share this with you, I thought it was pretty funny after..... a few minutes!

While I was off on paternity leave I received a card through the door saying I have a parcel with the incorrect postage amount on it and if I want it to head to the sorting office to pay the amount to collect it.

Sounds interesting I thought but I couldnt think if i had ordered something?

On the other hand a new baby was here and maybe this was a gift from someone?

Anyway, I made my way to the sorting office all excited like a kid on Xmas morning, wondering what could be waiting for me. On arrival I gave in my ticket and waited for the lady to find the parcel. A couple of minutes went by (you can imagine the tension) when she reappeared with a cardboard envelope. MMMMmmmmmmmm I thought.

£1.30 was the postage to pay, so I coughed up. Upon opening the envelope, I see some images that I recognise from being in the gaming industry.

YES THATS RIGHT...IT WAS ONLY A SPAM CD FROM AN ONLINE CASINO!!!

Well thanks to the company who sent it out, I didnt take up your offer but saved you £1.30.

Look into the bright side though. If it was indeed a gift for your new kid, then it worthed your curiosity for sure. Although I might call it bad luck rather than "karma". lols

I had exactly the same experience a few years back, only it was junk mail from my bank!

I'd send it back without putting the postage on it.

Maybe the next day take all my junk mail, put it in an envelope and post it to them - again without paying the postage.

    They'll get the message.

Not sure I should name and shame, but it was an MG casino with a name that means 4 and Audi made a range of cars using the same word (not casino).

A while back I was getting 2 or 3 approved loan applications through the post from the 'different' companies all offering me £25k and all spelling my name wrong.

In the end I kept a few, tore them up, stuffed them in an envelope with some old vegitable I found in my fridge/top of the bin and posted them back. They pretty much stopped after that!

Mmmmm, that gives me an idea.
