I am getting to the point that I won't sign up with New Casinos if they are Licensed in the UK, as this is a perfect excuse for them to close your account and keep your commission.

Lost revenue of an existing player base is simply lost revenue. Once they've promised to pay revenue as long as players are playing. Now seemingly they're not doing what they've once promised and cut the revenue. Nothing to compensate, it's lost.

Having e-mailed the affiliates department, general mailbox and the directors last week, nobody has bothered to reply back so I'm going to rogue these idiots across our sites.

So what are we all doing, contacting UK Gambling Commission?

I think best to find a solicitor and take group action. I can show you that since I started complaining, they have started issuing removal of LIFETIME COMMISSIONS that we had from TradeDoubler.

I think if we sue them as a group we will get a good payout.

Latest contract changes which I will not agree to as I will sue them.

We have made a number of updates to the Gamesys Affiliate’s Programme Agreement. Here is a summary of the key changes made:

1. Effective Date – 30 October 2018
2. Clause 4 – always comply with our instructions and provide us any information we request
3. Clause 6.4 – all social media marketing requires prior written approval
4. Clause 6.5 – all email marketing requires prior written approval
5. Clause 6 – send your advertising materials to Gamesys at least 2 weeks in advance of target date for written approval
6. Clause 6 – tell Gamesys if you change or add to your marketing channels, e.g. SMS marketing
7. Clause 15 – new GDPR obligations when you are a data controller
8. Clause 15 and Schedule 5 – new GDPR obligations when you are a data processor
9. Clause 6.3 – comply with all applicable laws and guidance, e.g. CAP Code
10. Clauses 13.3 – your account can be closed or suspended for any reason and at any time, and no commission is payable after this (including “lifetime revenue share”)
11. Clause 13.4 – even if you haven’t breached the terms and conditions, we can close your account on notice (similar to way you can choose to leave the Programme on 7 days´ notice
12. Clause 5 – if we think you have breached the terms and conditions or any applicable legislation, we may withhold and retain your commission indefinitely
13. Clauses 8 and 9 – new warranties and indemnities if you breach the terms and conditions
14. Clause 10 – sets out Gamesys’ liability – please read carefully and seek independent legal advice before accepting the terms and conditions or continuing your affiliate services

For further proof this company is up to no good, I have a several year old account that I've never promoted - never sent them a player or even a click. I am exactly what you'd call an "inactive affiliate" there. My account is not closed, instead I"m getting "urgent" emails about compliance issues and bonus offer updates......to me that indicates they are only targeting earning accounts for closure.

Mental note to put this program on the never ever list.

Same here with our account as well. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour, first was Sky, then Gamesys. It will happen more and more often in the future :/

The Gambling Commission has no real involvement with and most likely could care less about affiliates, except they would most likely prefer we did not exist so that had more control over every word stated about all operators.
