Golden Lounge group "disgusting"!

This is absolutely disgusting, and i hope they reap what the sow someday!

We all Know Miles from back in his Grand Prive affiliate manager days, and then heard all the crap that "Golden lounge program" did to him, buy hiring him and Kamiel as affiliate managers, used them for their contacts and let them go. Well Miles has been without work, and home for awhile now, and this has been posted and i will take for granted that everyone read those past posts. Well last we heard, Miles was "supposed" to be in talks with Management at Golden Lounge, working on some type of agreement, because they owe him weeks worth of paychecks, that they had refused to pay him, so all hopes were that Miles would at least get paid monies owed.

Well i have spoken with Miles and this is what kind of people run this damn affiliate group.

They have refused to pay him anything, there are no "talks" or "agreements" being made, they have made their position clear, and have told Miles....

"See ya, we are not paying you anything, we hope you like living on the streets, and you will make a good hobo"!!

ENd of story! They could careless about one of the best employees that they may ever have, and to me, that means they could careless about "players, affiliates" and Affiliate managers, and i stress to everyone, we all need to stay away from this group. I for one, will not have anything to do with a group that will treat ANYONE, in the manner that they have treated Miles.

is there a way to get Miles some funds to help out. God knows I'm not rich and I know most the rest are also feeling the economy but the day I can't come up with 5 or 10 is the day ... 5 or 10 wouldn't have mattered anyway.

but combine mine with a few others and it might at least help miles get a ticket back to where his people are and get a roof over his head.

I know he thanked everyone earlier for offering but refused any help. But its been awhile now, and things maybe worse, so i offered again, and i am awaiting response. And Steve, You are a beautiful person, and need to stop apologizing for things that need no apology,! we love you, we understand you, and wouldn't change a thing about you!!

As some of you may have read I had a particularly hard time with an operator awhile back, so these kind of things really agitate me allot. I have

started noticing many groups make business deals and promises only to back down and be dishonorable.

I am so sorry to here Miles go trough this problem. Its absolutely uncalled for and I have read his story over at CAP a few days back.

It seems recently we are littered by a handful of ruthless operators who's main purpose is to suck "all that is good" out of this community.

Unless the benefits to them are far in excess of their partners or business partners or affiliates, they will stoop to any level to sabotage a persons lively hood.

This really hits home for me, and only reminds me more of what happened to me (to a lesser extent) but still painful non the less so I feel for Miles.

He trusted them did the travelling, changed his life - and they did this. Luckily for me i realized before I got to that stage and got out fast from the

"cancerous" relationship and rogue operator.

What i would like to know Pat - Did they actually write that line to him verbatim? I mean that would be so cruel!

On a final note: I know how things like this feel and how it hurts and as an affiliate who cares about my peers and my industry I will help out with anything I can.

I was just reminded today by a program they were cutting my rates (business decision) so it may not be so much, but yet will do my best to help a fellow affiliate or affiliate manager.

Im so sorry!! and include me on the list for helping Miles!!

Let us not allow these rogue operators to continue and ruin our lives!

I just wanted to echo that sentiment ... no better said .. fact!!!

I think sometimes because we're online that people tend to trivialize or flat out forget that these are real people on the other end ... that they have held up their end of the bargain (in most cases anyway) and that sadly ... its not just these people who get hurt but rather the little kids who are counting on Mom or Dad to make a living ... one they HAVE made ... just can't get paid for ... or in this case it is even beyond that. They've asked this person to uproot everything ... to end treated like this ...

one of two things. Either there are really some unbelievable scumbags in this world who are really and truly beyond the time it takes to point out what slime of life they are ....

or else these people didn't really and truly stop and realize that there are REAL people on the other end of that internet and they have real hungry little eyes that count on the fact that these sponsors ... do the honorable, right thing

which in the long run will be the very thing that makes them successful .. if they're ever smart enough to stick it out and do it right.

Its sad really, but we still must remain strong and move on.

I pm'd Michael early this morning, asking if i could turn this responsibility over to him, because there are many members here who do not know me, and may not trust me, which is understandable. Miles has written back to me, and with much persuasion, i have convinced him to not look a gift horse in the mouth. The members here are offering him a life line, and i think he needs to swallow his pride and except, which thankfully he has. But as he has stated to me, he is too ashamed to make an appearance here in public.

I am going to post my correspondence with here at the bottom of this post, so you can all read are emails to each other and understand better what he is going through. I wanted Michael to handle the gifts that you all have offered to Miles and his family to help them get on thier feet some and i wish he would, and i apologize now to Michael if i was out of line asking him to take this task over. I am taking that because he did not reply that he feels he should not get involved. If i am putting words in your mouth Michael i apologize again.

So Michael would dearly love some help right now, and if anyone is willing to send him anything at all. Please tell me how to go about handling this. He does not have a paypal account, but he does have banking info, or western union is also an option for him. I will post his email address, so you can get in touch with him personally and i think that is the best route for now.

Back in August of last year, i was evicted from our home, we had no money, and had only a month to move and we were at our lowest point. we have no family to turn to, and i swallowed my pride and posted at CAP that my family was in deep trouble, and saw no light at the end of it. These wonderful people, the same ones who are offering to be there for you and yours, joined up and sent me over 4000$ to my paypal account. INCREDIBLE> we were able to move, get our car fixed, and get back on our feet, and now, everything has fallen into place. I'm loving the GPWA Family now. From reading all your posts from aksana's alleged spamming and to mile's downfall from a rogue company, people here are true loving and caring family members. I almost had tears in my eyes as how Renee acted like a mother to all. (Just a metaphor Renee since I think you're not that old ).

Not to be the ass here but if Miles is having a hard time and Renee has something for him shouldnt he take that to get back on his feet? Obviously Rewards affiliate program is unique and not like golden or grand prive. I would gladly help get someone on their feet but you can only help those who are willing to help themselves. Im also not sure why miles didnt just post here himself.
