Hi -
Can anyone recommend a good, simple and easy to set up template to build a site in WP?
Thanks,
Been using WP for close on 9 years now.
While I have no problems working around the platform, sometimes you just want a theme that's simple and easy.
Found Generate Press a few days ago. It ticks all the good boxes, then some more.
IMO it's so good, I purchased the premium version. Here is the link to the light version (still a good theme):
https://wordpress.org/themes/generatepress/
But if you want all the bells and whistles then US$39 gets you that![]()
That looks like a good theme!
Agree! Looks very good. Thanks.
I think they're good, just like a few other gambling spicific themes too.
But I wouldn't say they are easy (simple) to setup etc (as the OP requested). For example, to change link colors in Generate Press is a simple click (move slider palette) then it's set. Whereas with other themes, it's adding custom CSS (if you'd don't know basic CSS or are unable to do this, then you have waste time sending support tickets - that's if your using a premium theme, if not then support isn't helpful). Same goes with adding a logo.
In GP the light version gives the option to left, center, or right logo placement. So many simple options, where other themes one needs to know basic coding etc, to really mod the theme to their liking. GP isn't like this. Instead, a child could do it.
I should point out, I'm not associated to this theme or friends with the developer. Just a very happy customer![]()

buy themes with virtual composer...
I think you mean WP themes with Visual Composer![]()
holy....yes i mean VC
its really cool because u can play like a kid with drag and drop... .
Even though it did not support a lot of drag and drop design, suffusion was a wp theme that was far ahead of it's time at one point as far as how much customization it allowed etc
I had also found that Artistseer allowed for a fast track to theme design as a stand alone application (up until the early releases of version 4) then they messed that up and dropped all development and advancement in mid to late 2015, and released a different product that (although I have not tried) has gotten a long list of complaints in their support forums it appears that like so many developers lost their focus.
I know artistseer was not perfect and it did name images and classes odd, but it also allowed for the novice to create some pretty fast themes that were not just bland pages, and I have never found anything that compared for ease of use.
I am intrigued by the recommendation of this "visual composer" and will have to throw one up on an ip to have a play with it, and in fact I started a thread just on the subject of "visual composer" and would like some knowledgeable feedback there.

I also use the Flytonic theme for my website, could highly recommend! easy with an wyswyg page editor and enough nice pre-designed shortcodes to use.

Hi - do you know if this theme works with Yoast - I keep getting error message after installing Yoast SEO and trying to upload:
Cannot modify header information - headers already sent
etc.
You can search over google to get new template for your wordpress sites. For more amazing template you need to spend some money.
i agree with those who suggested the Flytonic themes - they are extremely easy and handy to use if you're not the best web dev.
