Google Analytics events issue

Hi,

I am using the Event mark to track outgoing visits.
Somehow in the past few days it dropped to 50% and now to 10%. In affiliate program stats the visits remain on the same level.

What can be the issue?

it-s never been accurate for me.. it's hit and miss.. I just use my 301'ed affliate link trackers to count now,

can you explain what you mean? mine are also go through /visit/ but where you see the count of that?

I have counters on my 301 affiliate links too.. that count.. + match up live visits to the programmes.. events works a fraction of the time, perhaps i have it setup wrong or perhaps i have the code loading too far down.

I had a quick look at one of the sites in your sig (slot machines online) and noticed that none of the tables I checked had the google event code in it, did they used to? Could it be that something has stripped the tracking code out?

We use analytics events on some sites and never noticed any issues tracking clicks (ie: the numbers do seem to line up).

I don't think i placed it.

I had defined /visit/ as event in GA and till now it was tracking. Just the past few days seems that something is wrong.

Oh ok. I've only ever done it using the specific onclick tracking method.
