I've lodged an application with G for a permit to advertise gambling stuff in the UK.
This is they reply:

"When applying for Gambling certificate together with the form you will need to provide us with a Gambling certificate from your tax authority."

Who understands that?

I think they’re asking you for a copy of your gambling certificate from the relevant authority that gave it to you. They must be assuming that it’s from your tax authority for some reason. Probably because they intend to charge you more tax, since it’s specifically gambling related. This is what it sounds like to me.

Affiliates definitely don’t need a gambling licence. So it’s unusual that they’re asking you for one in the first place. Gambling licences are only for casino operators.

They're asking for a gambling certificate, but I am not sure why they expect it to be from a tax authority.

If you are applying in the UK, when it asks

'Select type of country application'

Use the Aggregator option, we didn't have any issues after that.
