    Default Google and Duplicate Contents

An interesting post from Google Web Master Central blog about Duplicate Content. The main point of the message is that Google has the way of identifying different versions of the same content page. some examples like "Two identical pages, one for printer friendly version and the other for users" and "Reproducing articles from another website"

I have thinking that for articles it will not harm anybody! Also i have seen same thing in past by google when they banned sites who was taking data from DMOZ OPEN DIRECTORY.

So as per me doing article submission is good and in long run it will not be duplicate contents as Google already taking dmoz duplicate content in rankings and results.

I guess what I've always wondered is that I have written articles in the past and then released them through a Press Release but the real article exists on my site. Yet, the press release, which can contain a good amount of my original article, winds up all over the Internet (which obviously is why I submit it as a Press Release) so that hopefully readers will then come to my site to read the ENTIRE article.

Not sure how Google handles this, but we shall see...
