    Default Google Optimized Suggestions (JavaScript)

When you run Page Speed Insights in GWT, at the bottom after they give you suggestions on what to correct they have a file you can download with the optimized images, JavaScript and CSS resources for that particular page (which I may say is very nice of them). Im OK with the images and CSS files as I can just upload them and they are done but I have no idea what to do with the optimized JavaScript. How do I implement those optimized JavaScript files into my website? They are all that is left slowing down my website.

    Thanks - Travis

This might not be helpful, but I just want to say that those insights are starting to be pure crap and are clearly not to be followed "ad-literam". If your website loads fast enough and gets a decent score, screw the guidelines.

I tried this, went from ~70 to ~90 score for about two - three months and there was no change, actually saw a slight decrease in direct visitors. probably because of the lower quality of images and overall impact. I reverted the changes and got back to my "poor" 70 score.

Otherwise, I can only recommend minify plugins for wordpress regarding java and I guess you know about them. Of course, less Java if you can do that.

Also, the new mobile guidelines are a joke. A website that works just fine for mobile users is a 50/100 in their book, but a stupid mobile optimized website that looks like **** and is really bad for the users will get >90. And sooner rather than later this will be a huge issue for all of us.

Move to the footer, Minify? I always have a certain amount of JS above other wise I come into problems, But I added the Google pagepeed mod to my server. ditched the Cache plugin and tweaked cloud flare.. it get 70-80 speed but can load in 1.1 seconds.. which considering the amount of things on my site is pretty quick another site i had loaded in 4 seconds and got a higher score.. go figure.. the mobile experience is 99 however,

Could you explain how to change those files(images, javascript, css) after downloading from gwt ? My site's stats are for mobile: 58/100 and for desktop: 68/100.
I've tried to edit it on wp editor and cpanel, but....

    I would be very grateful.

From what i see on your site there is a issue of caching. I had same issue - added this code to htaccess and it was solved. Not sure if it's the best solution but it's easy and takes 1 min. you can see the code here: xxxhttp://gtmetrix.com/leverage-browser-caching.html
