Can anyone tell me how ofter Google have a PR update ?

It seems to be a while since it last happened! Is there a official date for these things.......

There was an update within the last month or so. The next one should come in a couple months. However, Google is changing the way they rank sites and they say PR is no longer an important part of their system so no one really knows what to expect.

In addition, Google has been constantly changing PR for a while now, so the quarterly updates have been less noticeable and less drastic for the most part.
