Google Puts More In Guidelines

This is an interesting article, it seems that google is getting more and more against Guest Blogging and Link Building In General. When they spoke about link building, they spoke about unrelated links to sites to inflate page rank which is not new. However to my knowledge I did not know that guest blogging with anchor text was bad SEO.

So if you do guest blog are you not suppose to link or should you just use your domian name maybe?

If I write a guest blog I would like a little credit. Probably the best way would be to put in a signature like "John is the owner of (website name) which offers reviews for poker rooms."??

Seems like nothing to worry about. There are a lot of 'if-s' in that article, as thebookieoffers said, if it's done on a large scale, if it's low content and Google MAY take actions.

I won't be surprised if people start to plan to somehow untie their business from Google, so they are not affected by any of the changes.

It will be years before they figure out what article links are good or bad. Xecutable nailed it in that it is nothing to worry about beyond over utilization of anchors. Now when you run webspam for the big G, you have to say things like this to make sure people never ever intentionally do anything to a search engine. I figure something as simple as throwing in one internal link makes it no longer all about the guest right? If you re-read that last sentence I just gave you a huge tip. Would you not think that speaks to the overall relevance to the article? I have a similar degree these G puppets are working with and that is my thinking... OK now you owe me consulting money...

Interesting stuff, thanks for the link although nothing to be worried about in my opinion.

Focus on quality for the user over quantity for your own gains and I don't think you'll have a problem.
