Google update

Did anyone notice any changes last night today? Can't see anything official being mentioned on the normal sites but definitely been some movements, some good, some not so..........

Penguin is rumoured (unconfirmed) to have either taken place over the weekend or to run this week.

Saw some movements but last week the moz cast was high all week. Some ups and downs and some old sites back in the SERPS.

Nothing but just the regular shifts and minor ups and downs. To be honest Penguin 3.0 is at least several weeks to go, also it depends which niches will be more heavily damages since the algo does not work with same criterias in all niches.

I could see some movements in the rankings during the last days. I am not sure if it was exactly the 19th but I could see some movements. It could be an individual rankings change of my site but maybe it was a general update

For suggestions on seo, design ideas, usability tips etc, the best thing to do is start a thread for a review of your site and other members will make suggestions and propose ideas, you can then research and act of some of those ideas that you feel make sense for your target market.

To keep up with current changes etc, keep an eye on threads here at the GPWA, as well as consider joining seo related forums such as digital point or search engine watch or others.

I ended up with a with about 10 days worth of traffic in a 8 hour period yesterday and then it's returned back to normal - gutted!

Changes, not really. Lots of crawling/indexing activity however. Moz Weather shows a lot of activity as well. Perhaps a preparation for something is on its way.
