Hello Friends,

What is Google's latest update EMD(Exact Match Domain)? What Google wants to say about match domains? I have purchased a domain before few years with target keyword and due to this update my traffic decreases by 90%. How can i improve my traffic without changing domain?

No one's really sure at the moment - there are a few articles trying to identify what they went after, but many of them contradict each other and my own findings don't really correlate. The general consensus though, is that it's looking like it might be some kind of EMD-focussed penguin variant.

It's still very early days, so keep doing what you normally do on the site and re-assess the situation in a couple of weeks. I also suspect they may do an update this weekend.

My suggestion is just give up trying to figure out what G is doing. If I took the advise of everyone I read I would be committed and on heavy meds!
LOL - all i do now is what I think to be normal - and that is - nothing! Google is hitting sites at random with no real focus on wtf they want. So until they define what is ok and what is not what can you do - just sit and ride it out. My humble opinon Fwiw. Dealer Dan calls it a "Cluster ****". Hes right!

It could all be part of googles patent relating to how a site reacts to things - maybe they're hitting sites randomly to try and identify those who pay attention to the changes

All you can do is try to follow best practices and build pages for the visitor with content aimed for your visitors.

Yeah true.. but all i am saying is - you cannot depend on the fact if your doing everything so perfect and building site for your visitors and all links come natural. it doesn't matter Google can hit any site at will - no reasoning behind it and on the flip side you can buy 10 000 link wheels and be grande for a few months...

There is no stability at all over at Google - good quality content is not working anymore. The lines (if i hear them again will cut myself) content is king is full of dung.

Content is only good for your visitors - not google.

Make a real good quality site with all white hat - and you have a 1-35 shot at making 1st page - LOL

I think people keep forgetting how bad those googlies hate SEO's that 'manipulate' their SERP...

Google has spent tens of millions of $$ and hundreds of thousands of man hours from that brain trust they have on stopping people from 'manipulating' their SERP.

Every-time some self proclaimed SEO says googles algo is a "Cluster ****".. a Googler gets his 'wings'... actually they get a parking place, a self driving car and stock options.
