Exclamation Gowild Casino Locking out US Players

    Hi Everyone,

Apparently Go wild has decided to lock out all US Players without any

warning. also, as an affiliate and player I did not get an email about this

    Here's my chat with "Cherry"

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Cherry'

    Cherry: Hello and welcome

    Rhonda: Hi REF107

Cherry: I am very sad I have to tell you that as of 00:00 GMT tonight US members cannot log in to their Casino accounts. This is solely a Microgaming's decision and unfortunately it is final

Rhonda: why didn't I get an email about this?

Cherry: It was a shock to us as well, we recently found out about this Rhonda

Rhonda: it's not a microgaming decision its a Gowild decision

Rhonda: you don't have plans in opening a US casino

Cherry: Rhonda, i can assure you that this was solely Microgaming decision, we are very sorry for that

    Rhonda: ok

Rhonda: are you still honoring US Players cash outs?

Cherry: If you have any balance remaining here with us, you are free to contact our Finance Department, at finance@gowildcasino.com

It makes me laugh that these companies are all acting like they got caught with their pants down on this.....

We've all known June 1 was the UIGEA launch date, yet these casinos act like this is a last minute decision. Bad management seems to be the norm in this industry....

Kudos to the few programs that were pro-active about looking after their American players - instead of keeping their heads in the sand and hoping for a last minute reprieve.

And if you had like 1900 loyalty points, they are gone too!!

What's really odd is they sent out emails as late as Monday, May 31, advertising their Tuesday - Weekend Promos to their US playerbase. Talk about insane....

    Default Hi Everyone

    Hi Everyone,

This is a sad day for the GoWild family and I understand and sympathize with the emotions on all forums and blogs.

As you all know Microgaming was forced to reach its final decision regarding players from the USA and from midnight all our members from the USA cannot use any Microgaming casino.

We all, including Microgaming prayed and hoped that there will be a way to keep going and kept believing until the last moment, and that is why the final decision came as a surprise to most of us.

I assure you that as always, GoWild will take care of all our USA members and all cash funds will be returned to their owners, all cash ins will be processed and as always we will take care of everything with fairness and sensitivity.

We will all miss our USA Members, most of you have been with us since our first moments online, we will always have a special place for you at GoWild and we hope that one day soon the USA leaders will bring back the freedom to choose to its citizens.

    Yours,

Inmyopinion, I think Microgaming knew a long time ago that they would NOT allow US Players after midnight May 31st.

I agree kudos thos those that started the process early and alerted their players and affiliates that changes were coming, but honestly even those that did get the ball rolling, almost ALL of them dropped the ball and still have NOT answered questions concerning what is happening with players, balances, small balances and more.

They are not answering questions about which affilate gets credit when a player might get moved to a casino and they had originally an account under different affilliates at numerous casinos (and are now being moved to a single casino).

And the affiliate programs are not answering questions or informing us about the free games that some of had been using on our sites that also suddenly stopped working....

Even though we have many questions that have not been answred, most of them went to the conference....and we continue to look for answers and clear the speculations....

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Default Hi Everyone

    Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your insights, I can only speak on behalf of GoWild

As I mentioned in my last post, all balances will be returned to their account owners and in case of small balances we are being creative and finding ways to send it back, GoWild Casino will not use the new software and therefore will not continue to have players from the USA at all, of course the affiliates who has players from the USA will be effected, still we are not talking about vast numbers and as always (some of you can testify) GoWild Affiliates always gives the maximum support and assistance for our affiliates.

This is not an easy moment for us as well, this situation was not obvious and wasn't clear until the moment it happened.

In regards to the thread's name, GoWild is not locking out US players - this is a decision which is beyond our control, is more a subject to USA laws and Microgaming policies, GoWild by principal wants to accept every honest player regardless of the country he comes from.

    Thank you all
