Default Is GPWA going to stand up for their members?!

It is an absolute disgrace that the likes of these SWEARWORDOFCHOICE are still sponsors here!

    -> https://www.gpwa.org/forum/very-smar...ghlight=quasar

I wonder if GPWA will ever start legal actions against those companies. At the end GPWA takes (a lot) money from them and gives them "trusted" exposure to lure in new affiliates... yet when they turn roque you hardly HEAR ANYTHING from GPWA...

Come on guys you are a WEBMASTER ASSOCIATION ... STAND UP for your members!!

Yes. Where else is it possible to discuss this issue(or similar ones) if all the sides are connected to each other?

As owner or responsible person of relevant platforms one can act immediately, to show companies that one don't accept unethical behavior like this.

In my personal opinion, the Malta Gaming Authority should withdraw the license from this company, so that they can't earn more money from their brands without paying partners for it.

But it makes no matter, either they are down and if not, we can say to our players not to play there anymore. Then they will go down within a short time. This is the only reaction we have and this is the only language they understand.

I think GPWA should suspending Quasar immediately.

I would give GPWA a chance. For all their faults, Michael personally helped me in December prior to the stay application hearing Affiliate Edge brought against my claim against them and in the aftermath. Michael and the GPWA in turn had my back. I will never forget that.

I understand your attitude completely but those companies do not deal with us prissy, so why should we do that?

OVO & QUASAR - blacklisted from our end.

I expect further bankruptcy and this type of behavior, because the market is already so saturated that only the biggest ones can survive...

To be honest, being a GPWA sponsor to me is more a red flag for an affiliate program than a sign of trust. All those programs here that aren't even able to answer simple questions, have stats issues, pay late, just disappear, don't pay players, etc.

I think OVO and Quasar are on the verge of bankruptcy. Players should take away their money at these casinos and close their account.

True... good affiliate programmes don't need hard advertising across all portals to win partners. If the program is good, it will gain partners without exuberant advertising through fictitious prizes and awards.

There is a legal process we need to go through with respect to suspending programs. It can be fairly quick, but it is not instantaneous. Also, Anthony who normally watches for this type of issue has been away for a few days on a well-deserved holiday. I have just sent Anthony an email to welcome him back, particularly pointing out this thread and the underlying issue as one that requires his prompt attention.

I thought 'breach of contract' followed immediate punishments? Or is this only for the GPWA contract.

Always the case when I am away something big breaks. Sorry this was not addressed, I will contact Quasar as per our agreement and post updates in the various threads regarding this.

A full week has passed and both OVO and Quasar are still on the sponsorlist...

However... even more surprising... Quasar Gaming is still a FEATURED SITE at casinocity...

    ps.
"Holiday" does not really seem like a legit excuse here as there is more staff assigned to deal with affiliate programs.

"Maria will have a wide variety of responsibilities and will work directly with Anthony with a primary focus on our relationships with affiliate programs"

Not a word about Quasar nor OVO from Maria... yet it seems that
"defending" an affiliate manager and chitchatting has more priority than serving the community here...

If GPWA wants to get back to +10K active members per day they should really change their attitude and set priorities.

And yes I know I'm fee to leave, not forced to read nor post here. But the affiliate community REALLY NEEDS a organization that can make a fist towards all those programs that are kicking us in the teeth!

    STAND UP GPWA!

*Nothing personal Maria, I know you do your best and sorry to drag you in but IMHO this is a perfect example of what I think goes wrong here. And I'm simply tired of those silly "politics" here..

I made a reply in the Quasar thread yesterday, sorry I did not make a copy here:

With such an extensive list of excluded countries, how does Quasar expect to stay open? I asked them for a list of approved markets instead of a long list of excluded ones.

I do want to confirm the players from the excluded countries are no longer playing, after 1 September. In addition, I want to find out if those players are going to be moved to another casino/program. I can't see Quasar just dropping all of those players. So I still have some more work to do on this, just wanted to post and update.
