    Default The Great Merger

I've just received a note and thought it's worth spreading a word about it.

The great merger is announced. In the sense of affiliate platforms.

UK betting giant will now work with cpays (www.cpays.com) and webroute (www.webrouteservices.co.uk). The latter claims to be the "UK marketing hand of BlackpoolClubCasino".

You can find news on casinoaffiliateprograms - http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...tes.30758.html

And here is the news on Will Hill and Playtech cooperation. Will hill is buying some of the largest playtech affiliates and selling part of its shares to Playtech

The trends are there. Consolidation of capital into the hands of the few large players.

I wish I knew this a few years ago)))

I am not so sure this will be good for the affiliates.

The email stated they will protect our players...but we all know that anytime this kind of stuff happens mistakes are made and normally once players disappear they are gone.

And what of older players that may not be active the past few months....what guarantees do we have that they will be mapped over to our "new accounts" if they decide to become active at some point in the future?

And what about our sub-level affiliate chains that we have developed over the years? There isn't even a mention of that.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Not to mention cpays are pretty much the most crooked affiliate program in existence. Head for the hills, just not the william one.

Wow!! Somehow I got lucky and missed another potential mess... I don't work with any of the affected programs

If ( a mighty big IF) they put together the ultimate affiliate platform, this could be good in the long term. The test, of course, will be what happens to sub affiliate accounts and player tracking over the coming months.

Good luck to all of you who may be affected in the short term!

well it's a little unclear for me why will hill chose cpays.

will hill is huge and they haven't focused on online ads too much as i understand, so they needed someone rather experienced in bringing in the affiliates.

who do you could work with them.

you are right a number of things are not listed and explained in the press release

As I understood Cpyas was bought by PlayTech itself. PlayTech will have 29% in new venture And WH other 71%. So may be it wouldn't be that bad .
