When a new member with 1 post wants to exchange money - it smells a little fishy to me and most every other member here.

If we want to trade money, we'll do it with members we know and trust.

    But thanks for the offer.

    Default Dear Thepokerkeep

I never knew that so many ppl had advertised here. Sorry to bother you.
It's OK to exchange in numbers if you doubt me.
    Happy Christmas ^^

Perhaps instead of driving a new member away from the GPWA, it would be good to ask if he would transfer the money first?

Just a thought to keep new members coming in and welcoming them.

I see so many threads on forums where "so and so got ripped off by such and such" that I subscribe to the shoot first and ask questions later philosophy.

Odds are, when a new member makes his first post an offer to trade money, there's a scam involved. It amazes me how many times people actually get bilked by scammers doing what the OP is offering. People are either too gullible or just don't understand the risks.

If my warning seems harsh, so be it. If my post saves one member from getting ripped off, it was worth it.
