About LinkBacksI hope everyone has a happy and safe July 4th.
And something else I happened to see mentioned elsewhere, July 4th is the single biggest day for pets to run away so be sure they are safe also.
I had never thought about how much at risk they are during the celebration but it does make sense as I do have friends that have commented about how their animals react to all the fireworks going off in their neighborhoods.
I do not really celebrate much myself, but will sometimes go outside and watch some of the fireworks displays others in the neighborhood do.

Yes, fireworks are terrible for pets and all animals and birds. My dog shakes and pants frantically with fear when she hears them. Very sad to see.

We have a 10 week old puppy so we're actually really hoping for some fireworks so they can experience them before they get into their fear stage. We live in London, but there are a bunch of Americans in the area so we do get occasionally get them on the 4th.

My friend's dog died from being frightened by fireworks or firecrackers (I don't remember). So it is difficult to talk about love for animals and love for fireworks in one message
(( It is better to take care of our pets and not to create additional stress for them.
