Default Has FTOPS reached a saturation point?

Interesting to note FTOPS XII, which began on May 6 and runs through this Sunday at Full Tilt Poker, has been failing to reach its guaranteed prize pools on many of the events.

Through 12 events, seven had not met the amount promised, which has not been the norm in past FTOPS.

So Buzzy is wondering if Full Tilt has reached a saturation point? And is this a harbinger of things to come for attendance at the WSOP?

Some of the buy in's are rather high in these, perhaps the state of the global economy may have something to do with it as well.

Or it may just be all the donks getting in via satellites.

I believe the introduction of the miniFTOPS may have affected the number of players playing in the FTOPS with larger buyins.

I'm not sure when T$ were introduced at Full Tilt, but I guess a lot of players are now playing the satellites for T$ and unregistering from the FTOP events they qualify for...

    Just a thought...
