Help with my iPod

Hey guys

This isn't really a "fun" diversion but I need some help...

I just upgraded the software on my ipod touch to the newest software and ever since I did that, whenever a new song plays when the ipod is locked, the screen lights up.

Does anyone know how to turn that off?

I even tried googling the issue and found nothing.

I've never seen that problem before sorry.
My wife and I've both got an iphone and bought an ipod for my mum and that hasn't happened to us yet.

Although if you do unplug it from the computer while it's still synching it can lead to some problems where you need to restore it.

I don't really like iTunes to be honest, it seems so buggy and am always having problems with it freezing or giving weird error messages. If I come across anything like what you mentioned I'll post it up in here for ya..

Push the power button after it lights up and see if that stops it.

That was the first thing I tried and it just lights up again on the next song

I think I may have to do the restore thing..
