Help for newbie to get traffic

Hey,

I have started a german website some month ago about sports betting, but the traffic is still very very low.

On the site users can post analyses and comment them. Also i post some information about a few bookies and other things which are good to know.

Do you have some suggestions to improve my site and get more traffic?

Would be very happy if you could help me. Thanks guys.

Use Facebook , Twitter , Google+, Tumblr , Linkedin and Reddit .. Also forum posts , signatures , article submissions may increase your traffic.

I'm already on Facebook and Twitter, but followers and likes are also rare.

More content is maybe the most important point, but it's not as that easy, but I'm working on it.

write articles with a minimum of 400-500 words. Google want to see quality but there are more ways to get traffic. Try to offer something that your visitors really want and share these offers on facebook. In terms of google try to generate some backlinks and if you write content focus on the keywords you want to target. Currently you have short betting tipps but the text you write is not related to the terms the people search for. Only the headline. As mentioned the text is much too short to be ranked I think. Further put some work in page titles and meta descriptions. I checked your site in google and the descriptions and titles are not clear. The visitor need to know exactly what he can expect when he clicks on your site. f.e. one of your titles is Basketball / einsXzwei - what does this mean? further the description is also only the first words of the original article .. an option would be title: free basketball betting tipps NBA / einsxzwei and a description could be: check out our new NBA basketball tipps with odds higher than for (date) (league) .. just try out what works best cheers!

As friends say you must learn more, ( it was for me dificult at the start ) you must know what people search in your language, and try to include those words on your content, and sure on titles and meta.

More ranking on keywords more will gain the traffic, and sure a great port of comunication with people are social networks, where people spend alot time everyday, so why must go where people go

My advice, try to avoid pushing new site via social media platforms at the very start of your launch, unless there is a solid amount of content already prepared. First, you have to work hard on adding quality and regular content and build value to your brand name. If you try to advertise a new product or new site via social media platforms without having a substantial content already there to be exposed, you risk spreading negative impressions and lazy recognition.

Don't give up if your site does not attract thousands in first weeks or months, building traffic is a long term process (unless your product is unique and targets general audience). Because your site, the business you are in, and your target audience is a specific niche, and also because there's considerable rival sites on the market already, so it will take some time for you to stand out from the crowd and will require a solid amount of your time to produce reasonable profit.

If you leave it as it is and expect the site to start driving traffic and players on its own, then it's a loosing game for you. Remember, there are many other sites on the market who are competing to get the same players that you are, and if you are not doing anything, those players will simply choose to go to other site where they see that the webmaster is actually contributing his time and effort. Its a simple common sense I guess...

The main target of my page is to provide a platform where users can post their analyses, but seems there are currently too less attractions to register on my page.
