    Default Highest Monthly Affiliate Amount ever?

    Whats the highest monthly affiliate payout ever? Just trying to get some motivation and seeing how I can be a better promoter as all feedback is welcome. Also who are the best affiliates? Would it be sports handicapping websites and if not than what?

    The highest affiliate payout ever will likely be unable to ascertain or prove for many reasons. No operator will release these details openly and if an affiliate comes along and says i have the highest ever payout of $xxxxxx then who is to say that someone else has not had higher but declines to state so?

    For motivation then this depends how expensive your motivation costs? There are plenty of members here that will earn in excess of 4 figures per month, is that motivational enough? If not then there will also be those that earn 5 figures per month or have done so at 1 time or another, they may now be corporations rather than individuals, however, these figures are no doubt attainanble.

    To be a better promoter, well, take advice from people here at the GPWA, it is given freely, in copious amounts and if you are the best affiliate to be a member of the GPWA, even then you would still be able to learn! Spend time here, ask questions, look at previous answers, all these things will help you.

    Best affiliates, thats a weighted question if ever there was one. As mentioned in this thread already, there are some big sports affiliates, but then there are some big affiliates in all disciplines, personally i would suggest that the biggest affiliates are casino orientated.

    Perhaps there is a little motivation for you, pick a niche and aim to be a big affiliate in that niche whatever it may be. It is still possible to become a big affiliate, just a little harder than a few years ago perhaps.

    Good luck and i hope you enjoy your time as a gambling affiliate.

    Think Horses and not casinos or poker or football to identify the big affiliates and generally speaking they are not individuals but authority sites

    It is very easy to make $xxx,xxx a month on affiliate income but you also have to look at the money going out.We have many full ,part time and contractor wages to pay ,about $3000-$5000 a month to server costs ,internet costs and phone connections.Never mind the office expenses ,accounting expenses ,PR expenses ,Advertisingcosts,memberships ,Conference costs,Travel costs .I can go on and on. We also spend about $7000-$10000 a year just to renew our domains plus IP costs (currectly own about 300 ips and 600 sites).
    One thing i have learned in my 6 years doing this job ,the higher the earnings the higher the costs .We just sold off 143 websites which close next month and another big sale goign through in January.My goal is to be down to less than 30 sites by my next Birthday in February .Phase one of my retirement

    Over the pats 10 years in gaming and other porject my largest affilaite one month I paid $177,000.00

    My highest month as an affiliate myself, from one property was $82,000, was early 2001 and was for golden palace ( no flaming GP now was a LONG time ago)

    In sportsbook the top say 5 - 10 affiliate's are the forum guys, though they deny they take % most of the time, they earn during NFL for USA players sometimes 6 figures a month each. In my niche I was in, My best month was a 6 figure month.

    As Judy noted, costs a lot, is why I suggest ifyou just starting out, try and roll as much as possible back into it.

    Thanks for all of the helpful advice. I never thought about adding a new niche outside of what my site does for affiliates i.e. poker or casino as it's a sports handicapping website.

    My best memory... I went on a cruise with my wife... a belated honeymoon of sorts. This was Feb 2007, I believe. I got home and had two checks waiting for me with a value over $8K. That is still my one month record.

    I'm just a one-man show too... so big months are possible.

    I was speaking to an ex Affiliate manager from Fortune yesterday and they mentioned their highest payout to a single affiliate was $180 000 in one month, and $120 000 the following month.
    I guess thats all you need to set you up for a good few months!

    Good months are possible for all. Although I am not at liberty to disclose top earning figures at bet365 I can tell you there are a few affiliate programs out there that do including bookmaker.com which show;

    Top 5 affiliate commissions for the month of October (bookmaker.com taken from http://affiliates.bookmaker.com/... not too sure but it may also include affiliates from betcris)

    * 1. $150.237.32
    * 2. $138,932.29
    * 3. $98,861.82
    * 4. $85,306.25
    * 5. $78,297.46

    Would be great to see other public figures as this IMO is a motivating factor for any affiliate who is in this industry.

    I know one Candian affiliate who in his day was getting cheques of $1m plus on a monthly basis and from what I hear he is still hitting big numbers.

    I know of many poker affiliates that pump US players to stars and FTP that get paid $100k plus monthly.

    Hit the numbers first and then spend. If anybody qould like cheques of €100k plus monthly just hit me up and lets get it on.....

    I should think Mr Livescore.com does pretty tidily on a month to month basis! Just imagine what he'll be worth during the world cup!
