    Question Hosting+ Domain Registration

    Hello everyone,

What Hosting and domain provider are you using for your gambling website? Not all allow gambling content.

    Thanks

I could be wrong but I've never heard of a domain registration being an issue because it was a gambling worded domain or was being used to host a gambling-related site.

Hosting - I've never had any problems at either WPX or Siteground.

When I started my website I was absolutely unaware that hostings might have something against gambling related content. I do know that now, however sill haven't had any issues (not saying that I won't tho).
I would recommend picking a hosting based on the region you are planning to target. The closer it is to your visitors - the better.

I've been using GoDaddy as domain registrar for more than ten years and Kinsta as hosting company.

I've never heard of a registrar refusing the registration of a gambling domain, but I guess it's possible. Stick to one of the main ones and you'll be fine.

Hosting is a whole other kettle of fish. There are various threads kicking around of ones to avoid, off the top of my head bluehost and vultr actively shut down gambling sites but I know there are a few others as well (didn't hostpapa have an anti-gambling blitz at one point?).
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding - see the spreadsheet here.

    Default Must avoid weebly.com !

Hi, avoid like the plague Weebly.com !

They are totally against gambling and even against gambling tips content. A few years ago they did shut down some of my websites I had built with them and also seized the related gambling domains I had registered with them. A terrible experience for me. You can read their T&Cs here: https://www.weebly.com/uk/terms-of-service

Since then, now I always register a web domain in one place and build the website elsewhere with another hosting company.

I'm not going into details about domains, since you can have whatever you like. But regarding providers, many of them are located in the US where online gambling is forbidden, (eg. California, where many of them are located) So in their terms and conditions, they usually don't allow websites related to gambling etc.
I would suggest you to use HostArmada for start.

    Hope that helps.

This is not quite the case with domains either, but with partners it doesn't matter, any extension is fine, including any reputable registrar. With operators, however, this is no longer the case. Surely the sites of offshore bookmakers such as betonline, mybookie, bovada on .com, .net, .org etc. would be blocked. For this reason they have other extensions like .ag, rarely .co or .io (justbet and some other offshore)

Well, but that's just as a curiosity, for the affiliate it doesn't matter.

One of the better registrars is porkbun, I recommend.

As for hosting I used A2, Fastcomet, Shinjiru, Abelo and few others and there were no problems.
