to share my checklist and hear what others look for.
Red flags I watch for:
1. "We reserve the right to change commission rates at any time" — without a notice period, this is a dealbreaker. Minimum 30 days notice should be
standard.
2. Bundled negative carryover across brands — if one brand has a bad month, it shouldn't wipe out earnings from another brand in the same network.
3. Vague "bonus abuse" clauses — too broad and can be used to void commissions on legitimate players.
4. No clause on what happens to your sub-affiliates if the program closes — this needs to be explicit.
5. Minimum payout thresholds above $200 — anything higher is just holding your money.
The programs I've stayed with long-term are the ones that treat T&C as a partnership document, not a liability shield.
What are the clauses you always check before signing?
