Question How many affiliate programs do you work with as of the end of 2024?

Different affiliates choose to work with different numbers of affiliate programs.

For this week's poll, as we close out calendar year 2024, I ask how many programs you currently work with.

I'm curios how the result of this poll will compare with a similar poll posted nearly four years ago.

In April of 2021: How many affiliate programs to you work with?

At the time of that poll, 40% of those answering worked with 1 to 10 programs, 32% worked with 11 to 50 programs, and 28% worked with 51 or more programs.

Besides voting in the poll, please share why you work with the number of programs you currently work with, and whether that number has increased, decreased, or stayed the same over time.

The number of programs has dropped rapidly over the last 10 years ... reflecting the transient nature of the business.
And our partnerships have also dropped accordingly.

Frankly, Even though I have just a handful I'm more likely to reduce than add to the list ..
Very few startups have the good sense to value anything other than HIGH number of new signups/depositors.
If it's like that at startup / joining - then the relationship is unlikely to last.

Used to be 150+ in the UK market, but barely any these days. I don't have 28 hours a day to fill the petty demands of changing several websites to keep up with the next UKGC moronic demands. And the fact that the vast majority of accounts have been thieved by shameless parasites. I just thank myself lucky that I got in early and made the kind of money I need.

I only work with a handful of casino affiliate programs at the moment, and they're the only ones that are still making me affiliate commissions. I used to make far more money than now only a few years ago. How much our industry has changed and the competition has increased immensely. It's just unbelievable.

The number of affiliate programs I work with has gone down over time. When I first started out, I thought “the more, the better,” but it didn’t take long to realize that most of my revenue consistently came from a small number of them. The others seemed to create more hassles than income (sometimes not even the latter).

With our stats aggregator, StatsDrone, we work with a huge number of programs and add many more each week. On the other hand, there are almost 800 programs with whom we no longer work with since they have closed or migrated with our programs over the past 5 years.

At the moment, I’m working with around 20 affiliate programs and plan to add more. I’m still in the testing phase, figuring out which casinos can bring the most profit. Once I complete this analysis, I’ll cut out the ones that aren’t financially worth it and focus on a smaller circle of top-performing brands.

Around 50 but it's only really 10 that get my attention.

I’m currently working with about five UK affiliate programs and plan to add more. I’m still testing to see which casinos generate the highest profits.

A dozen or so in total but I can't see that increasing materially in 2025.

Per week I get like 5 requests from random - new created affiliate programs. It feels like every week there is more of them, but I have zero trust in 99% of the Curacao licensed bitcoin casinos

I currently work with over 200 affiliate programs. Testing, checking, and maintaining such a large number is very time-consuming. I plan to soon clean up this list by removing those that bring little profit.

I am signed up with 200 odd programs but only make meaningful money with about 20 of those programs. To be fair though, this is also because I sign up and then don't get around to adding them to my sites......

Have reduced the number significantly. Cut it down to around 13 at the moment, and will be reducing that further to only 8, of which maybe 5 are key accounts. The poor performing ones have been performing poorly for years, and simply aren't worth the space for the amount they bring in. The poor performing ones are often the most demanding or dodgy, and have little in the way of retention marketing.
