Default How many "money" brands do you have?

    Hi,

Decided to create this thread just out of curiosity. Out of all the brands I have on my website - one generates around 80% of all the income. Obviously, different people have different ways of how they get new players, promote different brands and the keywords they target.
So I was wondering what would be the most common income distribution among featured betting and casino brands?

    Thanks,

I definitely find that a large percentage of income comes from a small percentage of casinos - as you say, along the lines of 80% from 20%.

If I see that a particular property has produced zero income over a significant period then I'll remove it and replace it with a new one. Having said that, a casino can be pretty dormant for a while, then suddenly start producing decent income again. It doesn't really cost much to keep an under-performing casino listed, so long as you're able to channel traffic to those that are producing.

It's definitely not an exact science!

I use to make 60% off Fortune affiliates until the merge and all my vip players got shopped by the old vip team who lost their jobs.I know as my husband was a VIP and received all the emails promoting other brands lol .In any case it was a tough lesson ,now we have 38 programs and we rotate about half to the high traffic spots so we don't send too much to one program .One program makes 10-15% of our income but the remainder is 3-5% a month and I like the new set up.

4 brands create 75% of our income and the other 9 brands the rest.

We have a large portfolio of brands however typical 80/20 rule applies. 20% deliver 80% revenue. That being said although there are some some brands every once in a while there is a nice surprise.

Probably 10-15 main brands that produce a bulk of the revenue and we work with around 35 programs (not brands) in total.

Also sad to see that since we started 50 programs we worked with have closed down.

This is quite a smart idea actually. How do the brands handle the rotation though, do you get a lot of moaning about regularly being dropped out of the top spots?

Yes we have a few asking us to keep them but they understand why we do it .I do not work with any that have any quotas and Rewards is the closest to a regulated program that we work at .I also use affiliate guard dog audits to decide where we are sending the players ,too many hidden fees these days.

I have about 20, and 7 of them are the only ones that actually produce a modest amount of income.

We have 10 core brands that generate most of the revenue but switch a couple in and out periodically to refresh or if a specific program is having issues (late payments, increased admin fees, no replying to emails, poor conversion, whatever).

In the past we relied on 3-4 brands to generate most of the revenue but have diversified in recent years as programs have closed or skewed people over (e.g. Sky).

The balance seems to work well for us.
