How much do you plan on working during the holidays?

One of the best parts about running an affiliate website is that you can set your own schedule. In 2008, we asked if you were planning on taking it easy during the holiday season. This year, we want to know if you're going to take an extended break over the holidays, or if you plan on keeping the same schedule with just some time off on a few days, or if you plan to work right through with no time off.

In addition to answering the poll question, let us know if this year is typical for you, or if you'll be working more or less than usual.

I'll be working slightly less than usual this year.

Between Xmas and New Year I will only be in the office for a half day on the 30th and 31st. I'll be out of the office the rest of the time, and an extra day on the 4th (my sister is getting married in my hometown on the 3rd so I will be there for the entire time of my days off :/).

I'll be working regularly on Christmas, 25th, because I'm Orthodox, so I celebrate it on 7th
I know that I'll be a very rare one to work on this worldwide special day, with nobody around on Skype or my inbox and I know that I'll have a lot of things to do on "my Christmas".

I think on New years day and Christmas day we Will take a day off and Enjoy the food, Family stuff and the hangovers.

Christmas and new year can be a quiet time for Casino affiliates. Today is my last day in the office until the 5th of January. I'll be going back to the UK to spend it with family. However i'll not be very far from my phone to check emails/skype. But the rest of the team will be in the office while i'm away so they'll be taking care of most things, so i'll be able to relax for most of the 2 weeks.

All I will be doing is spending an hour each morning updating the site (adding match previews etc) I think you have to draw the line somewhere and as much as Id love to work loads over Christmas I think its really a time for family and also a chance to enjoy the fact that you worl for yourself and enjoy some of the benefits!

I'll be toning it down a bit and only really monitoring and checking things to make sure there are no emergencies, especially the main days such as xmas day, boxing day etc.

Got a few things planned with friends/close family but only got a small family/no partner so it's not like xmas is ever anything super-sensational for me. I actually find this time of year pretty depressing as you get a load of happy families advertising shoved down your throat and it's nothing like reality to me, but there you go.

As we are relatively new , we are working through with just the public holidays off. We are looking to improve our program and making some changes early in the New Year. So its work work work. I do feel a bit for the Sports Affiliates who have all of that Sport to cover. It will though be a Merry Old Christmas as per usual.
