How often do you check your stats?

For my bigger programs I check every day, will smaller accounts being checked less frequently. For the latter, some only get checked when I do my monthly count up, but most get done once a week as I like to have an idea of how the month is going.

When working with new programs though I often watch them like a hawk - checking stats pretty much every day, and making sure impressions/clicks etc.. line up with what my system says.

Everyday. Shame they don't all update by a set time, say 9am. But on the other hand, lucky that some even update at all. Seems to be lot's of very slowly updating programmes at the minute.............

Depends on the program. The best once I check every 3 or 4 days, average ones once in the 2 weeks en also some programs almost never. When I start a program, I look a little more to see if the stats are right.

Seeing as my site is new I have found myself checking my stats more than once a day hoping that its starting to get noticed. Completely agree with the whole 'addiction thing', I find myself working on it most of my spare time now. I think I definately need to get out more lol

I tend to check the most promising ones every morning, if nothing has changed I won't check them any more that day and just focus on my site, you won't get any richer by checking stats, certainly when a large windfall could send your stats to pot. I tend to review the players and see if there are any trends emerging against analytics and other tools see if there is something I can work on but other than that its check > log out > carry on working.

Multiple times a day, i've got sites ranking for very targeted search terms so each click could potentially be a conversion, that and some programs update hourly so i can't help myself but look and see if there has been a change.

I am glad, that I am not alone in such addiction Some stats are being updated in the morning, some later, but I am allways looking forward to see the data and checking all the time.

And the feeling when you are not online for few days, and you can check ex. 3 days in a row That´s awesome.

I do big KPI at the end of each month: traffic, SEO, SMM, Affiliate Stuff and then spendings as well.

For me, it is important to check on in the morning or before the end of the day.

Used to check them every day or couple of times a day, but since 2015, once a month. Don't need to go through the roller coaster of emotions every day considering that the negatives are temporary and might not even matter at the end of the month.

Perhaps spotting some stat errors or measuring event performance would require you checking stats more frequently.
