How to sell an entire portfolio as one lot?

Hi everyone
I’m looking to sell my entire set of over 50 very old, but now sadly neglected sites and domains. I simply don’t have the time to work on them. Ideally I’d like to sell them all together. They’re a network of branded gambling portals plus additional undeveloped domains in the same style.

In a perfect world I would hand over the process to a broker but the sites aren’t making money as they are now, so I don’t think brokers would be interested.

My thoughts at the moment are to post something in the selling forum here and/or put them on flippa. Does anyone have experience or tips to share with me on this? Any advice very welcome!

I don't think there is any harm posting the domains or a list to them on here with a rough idea of what you are looking for. There are a lot of posts on here by people looking to buy all kinds of sites.

There will always be someone interested in aged websites/domains and there are I sure someone willing to take the lot of your hands. Although the bigger boys will want facts and figures so could be worth you looking at getting that together now.

Yes I’ve been gathering info and need to get it into a shareable format.

The websites are listed in my profile. Is that accessible to people here? I’m not clear on what’s visible to who in here.

You weren't joking about them being old and neglected. When did you last work on them .. 2013-4 before mobile became a thing?


I run The Gooners Guide so you would think that the "branding" along the Guide theme would suit me - but honestly in looking at the state of the sites I can see that if I went for the whole network then I'd end up like you with a large number of dated non-producing sites.

I might be interested in picking up the domains for things like the Betting Guide, the Sportsbook Guide and the Blackjack Guide as they're directly relatable to what I do now - and if I knuckle down and work on them (ie dump the existing format) and see if I can migrate content into a CSS / Mobile ready framework then I can get them online.

But that all depends on the price that you want for them.

Yup, TheGooner all perfectly fair comment! I’ve done very little with them for several years. The entire package has lots in it though, including some premium undeveloped .com domain names. I’m putting together an info sheet which I’ll post in the selling forum. At this stage I really don’t want to start splitting it up and would much rather transfer as one lot. But will see how it goes. Cheers

Thanks, vytunby65. Yes I’m going to post it in that forum in the next day or so and have been looking around it. Still pondering on whether to put an ad on Flippa as well. It’s a bit tricky to post a batch of domains as one sale on there though because of the way their system works.

@ tggnetwork - No problem. You can give Flippa a go too. It shouldn't hurt to try. There's also some good alternative sites to Flippa that are worth checking out. Sedo is quite a popular one among them in the link below and it's been around since 2001.

I’m delaying the posting of my network’s sale for a short while. I was just about to post it on the sale forum but decided it’s best to get everything ready first for a quick transfer once a sale’s agreed. I wouldn’t want to be holding things up at that point.
