    Default ikea creates manland.

    I like the idea

YOU'VE probably seen the "boyfriend chair" in clothing stores for bored shopping companions.

Now IKEA has taken the concept one step further by creating a “crèche” for retail-weary men, complete with Xbox consoles, pinball machines, continuous televised sport and free hot dogs.

MÄNLAND is being trialled for four days this Father's Day weekend as a male-only play space to hang out in while wives and girlfriends peruse the aisles.

and and and.. their hot dogs are cheap!

Can women get in? I think I would prefer playing pinball and eating hot dogs over shopping

Would manland really be manland without women? ok ok ok.. you're allowed to come in.. as long as you we don't have to do the following in manland

    Pick up after ourselves
    Change the TV channel
    Cook, Clean, Help around manland
    Put the Seat down

*undertakes "duties" in silence with apron on*

A couple of friends of mine, when they go IKEA, they always invite me, because.. first we go get IKEA ice creams, and then we walk through the store looking around, and then fume at people who bring their screaming kids.

Then to annoy people, I will walk in the opposite direction aimlessly. I love checking out the shelving section - thats my favortie.

Then past the counters, and into the "delicatssen" for some daim chocolate, and their awesome $2 hotdogs and dwinks. I live large people. I live large.

IF we're feeling really special, we'll hit the IKEA restaurant and I'll go for the swedish meathballs with gravy.

But I'd trade this for a day in bunnings with a sausage sizzle.

This is an amazing idea!! I love it.

I've always wanted to hide in a wardrobe in IKEA and when people open the door I'd say "Welcome to Narnia"

A man who doesn't like to change the TV channel!... So not all of you have that habit of channel surfing for hours at a time and never leaving it on the same channel for over three minutes

IKEA is like adult lego.. The hardest bit I find is.. trying to get someone to stand and hold tall bookcases when you need to move it around, or flip it over.
