iPhone IOS 10.1.1 - Terrible

What is everyone's opinion of the latest iPhone IOS 10.1.1? Ever since I upgraded to the latest version I am determined that this may be my last iPhone. Everything seems so much more cumbersome and requires extra steps to unlock phone. I have "bum dialed" more people than ever before! I hope Apple fixes a lot of problems or they will lose at least me as a customer and most likely many others. I wish they would thoroughly test their upgrades before releasing them.

My phone 'phantom called' a friend's number the day I updated. Phone was in my pocket & locked at the time, he texted me to say sorry he'd missed my call. I was adamant I couldn't have called him but, yes, there was an outbound call to him in my call log. Hadn't called him for months and was nowhere near either the top of my 'recents' list or first in my address book or anything remotely obvious. Voice calling was switched off too. Very, very odd!

Are your phone is on the lock screen mode? My friend who owns an IPhone never experience that kind of problem. If you wish you can always buy some cheap Android Phone on the market or get the premium Android line up. I'm very much sure that any features you want is already on the Android.

Searched around it online and found a few people having similar issues - seems to point to voice dialing being defaulted to 'on', switched that off and (touch wood) seems fine now.

I read that 10.1.2 is coming out soon. I will at least wait for that. Until then will be looking for an Android phone. I think I am finished will iPhones.

I checked my software and see I am using 10.1.1 already...

But funny you should say "bum dialed" I have done this to one particular person on more than one occasion (got a bit awkward as like golfbettingsystem said, no obvious signs of recent calls etc) maybe an error I don't know but it was weird... It's asking me to upgrade to 10.2 now

I'm always so nervous to click on any update since the Windows 10 debacle. Microsoft eroded my confidence in any update...even Apples.
It sort of replaced any excitement about updates with total dread.
