Guys I had multiple windows open last night and thought that thread was about Rewards .Apologize for that part but that's it.I don't need to start another thread Renee ,don't have the time for that.My issue with them is my casinoprofitshare players disappearing , the say players stopped playing and never returned.I got one payment for these players so i know they got the database of my players when the deal went through.Sorry for derailing thread ,you all know I am not a person to do that and can start my own threads -just blame this blopper on fat fingers and old age.
My remark about losing throusands was him waiting on cheryl which i am sure even he regrets. There are lots of great managers here who will get things to us quickly and usually linignup to help to convert traffic

I then receive an email from Duywane who incidental (unless he was a fly on the wall) was never privy to our conversations & or emails. But decided to take Cherylann on her say so and send me an email.

But instead you decide to post, avoid the obvious BS in the emails I posted and try to turn this around into being my fault...

Any how thanks for your input even if it's some what misguided.

Are you talking about the free games like wagershare has where flash windows open and players can play?Or was this some sort of custom job for you?I deal with this group and have good experience with them although i have never asked them for anything except a custom size banner and some non english content which they provided very quickly.

Edited: Nevermind, you're right. It is the same. That explains why I loved this Cheryl so much.

Edited again: It is NOT the same person. LOL Boy was I confused there for a minute.

LOL, a whole thread dedicated to me! Impressed... possibly. Ridiculous? Definitely.

Let's clarify a few things... shall we?

Unfortunately the project AusieDave and I were working on together at PlayShare was not delivered in the time that I had anticipated and promised. Why? Due to the Lack of Development resources. Not due to poor affiliate management or lack of competency. We communicated often and I kept Ausie Dave in the loop continuously -- as he so kindly displays for us all on this thread, showing clearly that I kept him informed, as I was trying to finalise the project before I left.

Duwayne, an experienced and fantastic affiliate manager, and I spent time together during handing over of my projects, hence the reason he contacted AusieDave directly after false judgements were made against me saying that I cost him thousands. In no way did I mislead him or take money from him – simply – a project we were working on, was not developed in the time frame I had been working towards. Incomparable to Glen Lee - who AusieDave compared me too - who took money and disappeared never to be seen again.

Holding a grudge from 2007 to post now on a forum, I think is absurdity.

Playshare was a fantastic company to work for, and I always gave my best and delivered a service to my affiliates that I was proud of and know that it remains an affiliate program held in high regard. Some projects did not get completed before I left, as often happens in any industry due, to reasons beyond our control, which Duwayne finalised and dealt with excellently.

I have no place in my life for negativity and I firmly believe that forums of this nature are there for sharing of information, learning from each other, uplifting one another and not that of slandering affiliate programs or individual people unrightly. Sure, if there is someone to be legitimately warned about, let’s stand together and be counted.

I will no longer partake in this ego trip of AusieDave’s, personally or professionally and feel that we should move on already!

Thank you to my PlayShare affiliates and associates who have complimented me, it was always a pleasure dealing with you.

PS: Unfortunately I am not the Cheryl from MM... but am happy to hear that the Cheryl's of the world are holding our name high

It’s 2009 and there are far more important things in life. Onward and Upward!

I’m very disappointed that the experience resulted in you not wanting to promote Playshare Partners brands any longer as I enjoyed meeting up with you in Adelaide and was hoping that we could have a decent business relationship going forward. I tried my best to get your free casino out as soon as I could with the resources that was available to me but we are not a huge operation and resources were stretched at the time. This leads me to the thread I’m reading on GPWA between yourself and Cherylann.

I don’t think the comments made about her was fair and specially in a public forum. She was an excellent affiliate manager and she did try to get your free games for you. The reasons for it not coming out soon enough was out of her control and before her leaving us, she asked me to make sure we get this project finished, which I did. All be it not as quick as I would have liked. If I had the skills to build that myself, I would have.

As a favor, could I ask that you post something on the forum thread to clear her name. I’ve worked with her for a couple months and I can assure you she doesn’t deserve those posts on the thread.

Thanks Duwayne for your explanation. And yes, you are right, a public forum of this nature is no place for personal issues - I appreciate your assistance and clarity.

Haha Daera... now I'm the one who's confused.

How many Cheryl Ann Smiths from South Africa are working in the gaming industry?

Maybe because of my thinking but I don't understand this whole issue.
Dave wanted something for nothing, then why the accusations of non-perfomance?

What really bothers me is the trend of bashing AMs for things they are not responsible for. Obviously creating a banner or setting up some easy creatives are not that hard work, and it can be considered helping affiliates out but expecting to develop a whole new set of games just because I have the idea?
On one side Cheryl should not have gone into such promises and on the other side Dave shouldn't make them responsible for losing out any money because of a project he expected for free.

Too bad that people usually forget about the case that human beings are at the other side of the fence as well.

I offered a business proposition along with a proposal to CS per favor of Cherlyann my aff manager in November 2007. Part of the proposal included front end development & promotional expenses. All of these were to born at my expense.

In direct answer to your statement I wasn't getting something for nothing...Not to mention that on completion CS would receive a base 70% cut.

Exactly...and this is why I'm ******...Instead of Cherlyann saying "hey Dave sorry..." I'm set upon for saying what I think about a set of circumstances that were anything but fair.

For those who don't understand this issue...Here is a synopsis:

In Feb 2008 I'm told (by Cherlyann) it had been briefed to the IT dep (tech guys) to find a solution. April 2008 I'm told (by Cherlyann) it's in the hands of Microgaming & we agree that everything should be completed by July 2008.

July 2008 Duwyane takes over from Cherlyann because she leaves PlayShare Affs.

    I'm told by
Duwyane he knows nothing about our agreement, least of all the free games that were supposed be in developement & completed.

    That's the entire issue.
It's not hear say; my claims are backed-up with black & white emails.

Bottom line we had an agreement.
Instead of telling me exactly how it was...Cherlyann chose to do otherwise and lead me up the garden path. Which ultimately cost me money!

Now when I say something about that, which I have every right to do because I was mislead, I'm set upon.

Oh and the only person being bashed here is me.

    Cheers

    Dave

I really don't know why you'd bother to repost this. Other than another cheap attempt at slushing me.

I actually posted this email on page 2 of this thread

    Hi Duwayne,

    SAID WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Unfortunately things went pear shaped and you've been caught in the cross fire.
Although I respect your position on this & hold no malice towards you, I'm not about to make any retraction, sorry.

The fact of that matter is Cherlyann lead me up a garden path for months & months & I have the emails to prove it!

At any time Cherlyann could have said something like...hey Dave I'm not 100% confident that the free games will be finalised by July. Least this would have given me a scope of choice. But I got nothing, just idle promises and continued extended dates.

If Cherlyann didn't like the GPWA post that's too bad. Maybe in future it will give her a reminder that people like myself who are self employed, don't earn anything by waiting around sitting on their hands.

    Cheers

    Dave
You #*@&%^ up in a major way by making promises you could not keep Cherylann.
Please don't add to this by taking cheap shots at me & then making aspersions at my professionalism.

To add insult to injury, your now trying to make this sound like I'm the one with the problem...Sheesh!

Just admit your were wrong...Give me a public apology and we can all move on and put this behind us...
