Thumbs up Join GPWA at CAC Amsterdam in May

I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding a GPWA social event at the CAC conference in Amsterdam. The conference runs from May 3-5.

The GPWA social will be held on the first day of the conference from 5pm to 7pm in the St. Johns I room.

We plan to have drinks and food, so it should be a great place to relax and network with other members before heading off for the evening party.

It will be a great conference, with lots of interesting presentations, and lots of good networking. The complete conference schedule is available on the CAC website at http://www.casinoaffiliateconvention...erdam-2007.php.

I look forward to meeting many of you at the conference. I plan to be there (I'll be a speaker), as well as Rebecca and Matt.

If you will be at the conference, post it here so we know who we'll be able to catch up with at the conference.

I'll definitely be there, and having a bite to eat before heading off to parties is an excellent idea.

Wish I could go to this one, but Amsterdam is just too far away. Perhaps most frustrating is I'll be traveling to Europe (on business - the day job) in April. Still hoping for a North American meeting this fall (and enough commission to afford attending!)

I'd love to show up and do a presentation on ethics; but based on my experience it wouldn't be welcomed. I'm sure I would make a few people extremely upset as well; but heck I am a gunslinger - just might have to make those reservations.

Having a open discussion about Ethics would certainly be welcomed. Afterall we all refer to the word. Besides I think you would be an excellent candidate. Can't see too many people getting upset over that.

A presentation would always be welcomed.

Right on, Dom: at last the free time slot between end of talks and beginning of party has been filled...
One less opportunity to get lost in Amsterdam's side streets. Well done Michael.

See you all there, we'll be exhibiting at booth 60.
Those of you courageous enough to go that far down the exhibit hall will be rewarded with a smile, a sales pitch and a Virgin freebie of their choice.

Yes, of course Paul; the ethic of reciprocity shall always be an endearing virtue. Course If I were an ape I think I could realistically expect to be treated like one.

It will be educational; that's for sure.

I agree there needs to be more discussion generally about webmasters, affiliate programs, and other actors within the industry in terms of the impact that we have in society and steps that can be taken to minimize harms and work towards more constructive contribution. These conversations and commitments are integral to keeping a healthy viewpoint on the work that we do.

For those interested in a presentation, I gave a short talk "Fair Gaming Issues in the iGaming Industry" about some of these issues at the GPWA conference in September '06. The powerpoint slides and audio of the presentation are available at https://www.gpwa.org/conference_presentations.asp.

I would certainly be interested in reading or listing to any thoughts you presented on the topic.

You may find all information about the affiliate program here:
    http://www.intertops.com/affiliate

If you require further information, drop me an e-mail at affiliate@intertops.com

Many thanks, but there are too many ifs and buts. After signing up, a) enter the draw b) send at least one player and then c) you MAY win one of the free passes.

A good marketing strategy, though, for Intertops.
