Just had a skip through a few of the sites in peoples posts etc.
I was wondering what would a rough page count be for an average site?
If I was targeting a specific area like bingo or poker for my first site what would amount of pages would be good to aim for?

    Hi Melvbot,

    Welcome to the forums

    To answer your question,

I was wondering what would a rough page count be for an average site?
If I was targeting a specific area like bingo or poker for my first site what would amount of pages would be good to aim for?
I would say that you'll get as many different opinions as there are members here.

Rather than aim for a specific number of pages I would suggest that you focus on creating one "quality" page at a time. Choose your niche, do your research, work hard, and the site will take on a life of it's own.

    Welcome to GPWA!

I agree there's no constant number of pages per website. Concentrate on quality pages that interest your future readers.

Pick a niche that you enjoy, it's a lot more fun that way. Follow your interests, and let the revenue follow.

I run a couple of site on various things, basic web design and a site for herbal remedies. Ive always had a gaming background from UK slots and a few other things that I cant do in Thailand as gambling is illegal here, so I thought this might be a good way to keep my interest up.

    Welcome to the forums.

As for page count, do as many good pages as you can, and keep them coming. We all know the SEs like steady growth.

Dot com is by far the most preferred but it can be next to impossible to find an available dot com domain name that works for your keywords.

Dot net is probably the second most popular.

Country specific url's are fine if you plan on focusing on specific regions/countries. But, be careful with these as they may draw unwanted attention to your site from the local law enforcement/government officials. Be sure you are not violating the local laws or regulations.

Unique content is definitely more important than number of pages. And, I think, you should not have more pages than you can afford to update regularly.

If you are starting a site on something as specific as Blackjack, I assume you are familiar with the game. In that case, the best thing you can do is write some informative articles on different Blackjack games based on your first hand experience. In that way you will win returning visitors, provided you do the usual seo stuff to make your site visible to many interested in the game.

Yes Im familiar with BlackJack but only the basic BlackJack not any of the variants.
Would it be preferable to go for a single area or go for the full casino at a start?
