Bad Nicknames That Stuck

I was just having a conversation with Trish about nicknames and thought "I wonder if there are people out there with really bad nicknames they just can't get rid of"


So who has one?

Lol I dont know if it's really bad, but one of my uncles calls me "Trash" instead of Trish.. gotta love family

I can't think of any bad ones that stuck for too long, but the top couple were:

Renoofy - as soon as the guy that started it left school noone called me that anymore.

Spring Head - Because of my extremely curly hair - since I chemically straighten it now, noone calls me that anymore.

Ollyoomfus - no idea what that is or why I was called that but it was a bunch of bitchy year 9 girls who called me that from year 7 all the way until I was in year 10 (and then they left school).

Stinky/Stinx - unfortunately this one has stuck.

Yea Renee, that one is bad. You don't want that one floating around. It gets into peoples heads and then it's forever. So, in order to extinguish that carry a water gun with you and squirt anyone who calls you that. Just an idea.

Ok.. the worse nickname I had was "Mormon" in medical school. It was because I always had a white dress shirt, blue slacks, and a dark blue tie. Here in Costa Rica you used to see a bunch of Mormon pairs walking around together. They all looked "American", so that name stuck with me for a while. I finally started wearing darker shirts and then people forgot about it. lol

The problem with Renoofy is that its not pronounced the same as Goofy... It's like a quick oo, not a drawn out one.

There used to be mormons that would get around on bikes near my house, and they once jumped out of the bushes and chased my mum and I down the street... it was gold.

I think that one is too long though.. that's probably why I got stinky though... coz fart queen is too long LOL

As if showing my teen pics in the other thread wasnt bad enough, now for some more embarrasment:

As a youngster of 7 or 8 i was in a gang of half a dozen or so, we all had nicknames and i was "Tonka" after the indestructable toys. I was always getting bashed and bumped but kept bouncing back and that was how i got the name.

Then when we were about 9 years old we decided one day that we all needed new nicknames for some unknown reason and the way to rename us all was to go through the alphabet changing the 1st letter of our nicknames until we found a suitable word.

Well, guess which letter was chosen? yep "W", now we had no idea what the word was close to, we came from a decent neighbourhood and "bloody hell" was about as bad as our language got. So there i am at 9 yrs old with the nickname "wonka", and it stuck!

By the time i was 14 or 15 it was still the same, only, anyone that didnt like me used to call me "wonka with an a" and occasionally just w*****r.

Sadly, when i bump in to someone i have not seen since school days, they always seem to say hello wonka. People even thought my surname was wonka and xmas cards used to be addressed to paul wonka!

I have kept my nickname with my close friends over the years and here it is..........wait for it.

WOLF.....................and for reasons that I will not go into in public,but I would and still would give Mike Tyson a run for his money..............lol
