Default Latest Covid 19 Impact Data

Latest UKGC findings here which go against some of the headlines that imply gambling has grown as a result of the pandemic:

The consumer research data continues to show that across the population as a whole, there is no evidence of a significant or sustained increase in gambling activity in the Covid-19 period. However, the research highlights links between the impacts of the pandemic on people’s financial and mental wellbeing, and increased gambling.

Interesting read. Would have expected different results and the fact that the UKGC did not slant the analysis is promising.

    Thanks for sharing!

The number of online slots sessions lasting longer than an hour increased by 3% (to 2.2m) in October to November; 1% higher than the increase in overall sessions. The average session length increased by 1 minute to 22 minutes with around 8% of all sessions lasting in excess of 1 hour
Probably it was very predictable as people are tired of sitting at home. And gambling is one of the ways to entertain yourself while being alone.

Yes, people are in lockdown and probably are looking to kill some time, which is not bad at all.

This is good for us. These players really can't be blamed when there's a lockdown and restrictions that are currently put in place.

Gambling market is not dying. Affiliate marketing is dying. I hope at least people on this forum can understand the difference.

The report is not a surprise, I have very good numbers from autumn at bet365+rn = from past players at honest affiliates.

This is a very interesting story.
I don't think users will leave so easily.
I think we need to constantly think of new ways to attract customers.

Thanks a lot for sharing. I don't think affiliate marketing is dying as much as it is becoming harder and harder for affiliates to grow.
