Astronomers have discovered 12 more new moons of Jupiter, including an abnormality.


Washington: Our solar system's oldest and biggest planet, Jupiter, has many moons. And astronomers have just announced the discovery of a dozen more.


On Tuesday, the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Centre published the orbits for 12 newfound Jovian moons - bringing Jupiter's total to 79 moons, said Scott Sheppard, a scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, DC.



Jupiter's moons range in size from really tiny satellites to enormous space hulks. Galileo discovered the first four of Jupiter's moons, all huge, in 1610. The largest Galilean moon, Ganymede, is bigger than the planet Mercury. Those moons orbit close to Jupiter and travel in the same direction as the planet spins.

Thai cave rescue: Wild Boars players visit Buddhist temple to pray for protection from misfortunes


On the first day back with their families after being rescued from a flooded cave, the young Thai soccer team and their coach have visited a Buddhist temple to pray for protection from misfortunes.


The coach and 11 of the 12 boys kneeled and pressed their hands together in prayer to the sound of chanting monks.


They were united along with their relatives and friends at the Wat Pra That Doi Wao temple, over-looking Myanmar on Thailand's northern border.


The remaining member of the Wild Boars soccer team — Adul Samon — is not a Buddhist and did not attend the ceremony, meant to extend one's life and protect it from dangers.


The boys' coach, Ekapol Chanthawong, said he was finally relaxing now that the boys were at home with their families again.


"I am very happy to be home. I can finally sleep well last night," he said.


The boys have already said they would become Buddhist novices to honour former Thai Navy SEAL diver who died in the cave while making preparations for their rescue.

What a very touching and beautiful update to this story. I'm sure it was a very difficult hardship for all of them, but now it is really great to see that they are all okay.

Packed night sky offers plenty to see for astronomy fans


Australian stargazers are in for a celestial treat over the next couple of weeks, with five planets over the clear night sky, some of the best views of Mars for years and a total lunar eclipse.


Glen Nagle, of CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science, told nine.com.au the coming winter nights offer fantastic sights of the busy night sky.


“There are beautiful clear winter skies at the moment. People can just go out and look up without the need for telescopes or binoculars.”


Astronomy lovers with a fairly good sight of the western and eastern horizons will certainly be able to see the rare sight of five planets aligned together.

AAC was not so bad. The worst happed to me 1 day before actually when I missed my flight which should have been at 2:30am but guess what? I didn't woke up!... never happened to me before...

The funny thing is that my phone alarm clock was properly setup to the right hour but during this time exactly when I was sleeping the phone found a great timing for a software upgrade (yes it's an iphone7) so it was shutdown during this time so the alarm clock didn't worked and phone was unreachable as well so when my colleague tried to call me from the airport about 10 times, the phone was not reachable and I woke up 3 hours later which was too late

A rule for next time, setup a proper good old fashion alarm clocks to avoid complications and for saving money!

Because I had to buy another ticket

I can clearly say that this was the most expensive software update I've ever did before lol

Hi everyone, Do you like history and have 17 hours available? if so, you must watch The Vietnam War on Netflix!

This new documentary telling the full story from before the beginning and up until the end years later and also reviling an amazing facts about the war. Honestly before I seen it I thought I know something about Vietnam war but now I know that I knew almost nothing about it. It's long watch but worth every hour of watching!
I personally also like war documentary movies and after watching hundreds of movies, I can say that this movie is done really really good!

Yesterday, obviously after IA cried for daddy, they removed my satire from the IA Affpower thread and also closed that thread to complete the North Korean like censorship of this so called forum.

Even a 12 years old child could understand that satire, but they are hiding it from you, so you cannot make your own opinion on it. But fortunately a lot of people have read it already, and they all know now, what a weak place GPWA in reality is.

The satire was so clear to understand, my claim, that I hacked and took over some GPWA accounts from IA representatives, so that they cannot be blamed, that they refuse to say one single word since years about the fact, that they knowingly and willingly working together with the AffPower Crime Family. I also "revealed" passwords from IA representatives I hacked like "fernandaboobs2". Does anyone really believe, anyone from IA has such a password, and this is not satire?

And of course, no one of IA would ever complain at GPWA, if their accounts really were hacked, for more than a year, right?

No, my satire must be real. There is no doubt.

Nothing, but understandable it hurts me more as usual, because they know exactly about the condition very well, and then one should think twice before doing such outrageous and idiotic move.

First, the "fearless leader" ignored that conditions completely, her pain, my sorrows, and constructed later a replacement-story as an excuse as if I am an idiot, and now this?

First of all, I hope your wife's surgery is successful and I do keep your both in my thoughts. I consider you a friend and I am concerned for you and your wife's well-being. How a post in the forum is moderated is not a personal attack on you or our friendship.

As you know, we are not overly hard on the rules here, and we strive to let opinions freely flow without much interference. However, GPWA is not a free-for-all, we do have rules and moderation of the forum. Not 100% of everything written can always stand. These type of "satires" are not taken well, and can create misunderstandings. The previous sarcastic post regarding a conference, brought the same action from moderators (at least we are consistent).

I know whatever rule enforcement or moderation action we take, you will consider it censorship. Even though you can look though the forum and see your opinions everywhere, it's clear your voice is not being silenced.

We moderate the forum the best we see fit and there will be times we disagree, that is the nature of it.

I will tell you, what really happened in my opinion, Anthony.

CCM and a henchman framed a false-flag "hacking" incident around my post with the intent to finally close Triple7's uncomfortable thread, so that the thread will be "invisible" after some time, because no one can reply and so other threads push the closed thread down in that area. A fine move, but I am not an idiot.

So the truth will slowly but surely vanish about the criminal connection between Income Access and the AffPower Crime Family, because the sponsorship fee is more important than anything else, obviously even more important than the crimes of AffPower.

I think, this is, what it is all about.
For me, the most obvious explanation.

The closure is the key in this case. The post was only a trigger to find something. This is my strong believe. Exactly this way it happened.

Autonomous-car outfit Waymo is about to start driving around shoppers to and from a Walmart store in Arizona, USA as part of its efforts to explore different uses for its self-driving technology.

The trial is part ofWaymo's "early rider" program that gives nominated residents in Phoenix, Arizona access to its fleet of self-driving minivans.

The new service is focused on online shoppers who will be driven to Walmart to go and pick up their items after they've pushed the "buy" button at home. Waymo said that it came upon the idea after taking notice that many of its early riders used its driverless cars for trips to and from grocery stores. One of the great reasons to use the service include discounts on grocery orders, the company said in a blog post.
