I believe it was sanctioned by WMOFTPDOM (World Male Order For The Positive Development of Men), we have a secret ballet process every week which we vote on. We try to bring in social and fashion change for our betterment - also introduction of rumours (blue balls was the first).

I did vote against the world wide acceptance of dudes using more hair care products then women though, and tight light fluro shorts. I mean really.. whats up with that?

At birth, a newborn baby has over 300 bones, whereas on average an adult human has 206 bones.

Also upon birth, a baby will not have a conventional knee cap, but a growth formed of cartilage. In females this turns to a normal bone knee cap by the age of 3, in males the age of 5.

What cool info! I wonder what happens to the missing 94 bones since birth? Great piece of Did you Know material.

The phrases 'Speed Up' and 'Slow Down' came from the days of early pendulum clocks where the time of each 'tick' was regulated by moving a weight up or down the pendulum.

    I read about this.
It is actually a sun that was feeding off energy from another sun. One of them combusted. Because it was so hot, it formed a huge diamond.

It's pretty awesome if you think about it

Higher IQ equals more dreams (maybe that's why I dream so much :P)
What IQ is required to dream about blank space for hours at a time?

Nicotine patch makes me very very smart.

That is actually pretty cool, could you imagine all the other processes and chemical reactions that happens when a sun combusts, and how far out it gets flung.

Hoping new star trek when it gets made comes out with an episode about the diamond nebular, with the token Vulcan giving the captain the lowdown on what happened.

The terms 'Upper case' and 'Lower case' for 'big' and 'small' letters comes from the times when printing presses were set by hand. The Print Setter would keep their with the engraved shape of each letter on them in a large box, a bit like a cross between a suit case and a mechanics tool box.

The Capital letters were used less frequently and were always kept in the top-half or lid of the case and the 'small' letters in the bottom of the case and eventually became known as Upper case and Lower case

Cockroach in the microvawe?! Ewwwwww That's really gross. I wouldn't want to try that. Speaking of microwave, did you know that grapes explode when you put them in the microwave?

And did you know that there are no word in English that rhymes with orange or month?

And one last one that came to mind while writing this, did you know that it is impossible to lick your elbow? And that over 75% of people who read this will try to lick their elbow.

I posted this in the gas thread, but you have no sense of smell while you're asleep.

That's why people without smoke alarms die when their house burns down - coz they can't smell the smoke while they're sleeping.
