Google never shows how many backlinks there are. There is really no way ok knowing to the best of my knowledge.

There are several tools that will give you a really good idea about your inbound links.

You can never know for sure, unless google tells you(never gonna happen) how many inbound links they have counted.
But I think it is safe to assume that Google knows what all the tools know... and then some.

    majesticseo com
    semrush com

    Just to name a couple.

actually there is a good school of thought that google will tell you all the links when the disavow tool becomes live

open site explorer is a good tool though for now

Webmaster tools has started to be a bit more representative recently, actually.

Otherwise I use open site explorer: http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding - see the spreadsheet here.

I have found that very recently they have been supplying a little less (at least the last few weeks).

The section needing the most work is the error reports. I have found that more and more 404 reports do not show the offending page or website. If google sees a 404 there is no logical reason not to show the offending page.

    Beyond that
Gambling World Online Roulette Online Blackjack Live Online Games Sports Betting Horse Racing
    Casino Affiliate Programs
    Hosting and Domain Names
    Gambling Industry Association
GPWA Moderation by Me and My Big Bad Security Self
If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

If google ever lets siteowners disavow links, they will do it just like BING has already done and only let you disavow a select group of links..
A group of links that the search engine SELECTS as being questionable.

No way is google ever going to show you, all your inbound links.
If they did ever show all the inbound links to every site... their search results would be even worse than they are now and their Algo would not be worth sand in a couple of weeks.

and i have to disagree with the search results quality as well, just because you can see the links it doesn't mean you can see the value of each link to crack the algo, especially as there is over 200 other factors as well

    a
last I read was http://searchenginewatch.com/article...unce-Rate-More saying Google is “talking about” being able to enable disavowing links, possibly within a few months.

no mate, Cutts has already said it is being worked on. i have a feeling that when he made that comment it made bing panic and rush their release.

but back to my point there is no point having the tool if the SE won't let you see all the links

If you know of any link to any official source (including Cutts) that states Google IS going to allow people to disavow links or that Google is 'working on' allowing people to disavow inbound links... Please post it here.

Because, as far as I know(and I make it my business to know these things) Cutts has only mentioned in passing, in a video interview, that some googlers had talked about(past tense) letting webmasters disavow links. No other official statement exists, as far as I know.

And then after Cutts video, a bunch of folks started their "wishful thinking" type of blog and forum posts and the next thing you know... it's suddenly a faux fact... With no official statement or 'real facts' to back it up.

So again, if you know of where any googler has said anything about them letting people disavow inbound links, or any official statement from google... please post it.

SMX advanced, Cutts said to expect this type of tool in the coming months, "Google will work on that [a disavow link tool] in the next few months."

pretty nailed on to me that is

Here is the Cutts video where Matt says to Danny... that Google is CONSIDERING letting people disavow links.

No where does Matt say.. they(google) are working on letting people disavow links.

Like I said... Just another case of wishful thinking...

I'd like to see this type of tool from google too, but so far it really don't look like that is gonna happen.
Way too much of Google's algo is tied up with inbound links for them to let everyone have a peek at whats under google's dress, so to speak..

    Whatever...

No where... I repeat... NO WHERE... does anyone from google say anything about google actually working on this tool.

The ONLY statement from Matt at SMX about this in bound link tool appears in the 51 second video I posted.

And that video DOES NOT say anything about google working on this tool.

If you have any specific video or any other valid source that states different please post it... the link you posted is to the entire SXM video library and is not very helpful(on this issue), unless you want to spend an hour or so watching videos... just to see this tool is only discussed once at SMX by Cutts and it's in the 51 second video I posted.

Just to add... the entire philosophy of the google founders was to fully automate the entire search process... to do away with Human interaction from the search process.
Making a tool like we are discussing available to the public would go directly against that philosophy.
And on that alone. I don't believe any tool like this will ever be part of google's webmaster tools.

...I also just noticed that over 30k in bad in bound links to my site just disappeared overnight from my GWT backlink profile.
I didn't need to physically identify a single one... and now they are gone from my backlink profile. No need for some stinking human operated tool... LOL

so what you are saying is you don't trust yourself not to be wrong, that's fine. not sure how it would be wasting your time by saying 'this charity' if you are so sure you are correct either.
