I think you won't get many replies unless you provide a little detail as to who you are and what you do...Agency, operator etc? Most Aff dir I know are in work so they are unlikely to PM a stranger on a board that they are interested.

I could recommend two people who are looking but again without knowing the details I wouldn't want to just punt their details out to just anybody.

This should really help with your response rate.

The problem is that we placed a more open message and it was kicked off of the board as spam.

If you know of any other forum, newsletter, portal where we could approach affiliate managers, I'd be very happy to hear from you.

It's an early stage casino affiliate program, with 200 affiliates, traffic that needs to be boosted. One brand and a second brand in the pipeline for August 2009.

If the applicant has strong experience, connections, but feels that the he/she is hitting a ceiling or not being appreciated and would like teeth in the backend, then we have the perfect position.

You could try an advert at LinkedIn. There are many pros over there. Also, once you are plugged in you can expand your reach with WorldGamblingExecutives.
