    Default Mansion > Casino

At the Mansion Casino website, I can see quite a bit of incentive for the visitor to move onto casino.com.

I can't see any referral tag being carried over in the links. They seem to be straight links so I'm checking if credit is being carried through in another way?

I agree, this is unacceptable. Cookies indicate there is no affiliate tracking when the visitor moves from Mansion to Casino.com, which is practically forced upon the visitor through an unblockable popup. It doesn't occur immediately, it happens when the visitor has been looking at the page for some time then the whole site greys out and the popup appears :

Hello all. We credit affiliates for all cross-sale activities that we conduct. On our side, we make sure to extend players' lifetime value and consistent incomes for affiliates.

It's probably best to do a test and see if the stats are carried across

This is the number one reason I refuse to work with this program. Testing would be a good idea though. I just don't swallow the "higher player lifetime value" spiel. We work too hard to direct a visitor to a certain brand only to have confusion added into the mix. It's like they casino they go to isn't good enough and they should go somewhere else.

I don't understand why some casinos do this.

The client is at their front door and instead of enticing them in they try and send them to one of their sister casino down the road. It's like arriving at the front entrance to real brick and mortar casino only to be given a bus ticket to another casino in the city. Really sleazy tactics.

It seems they do not have much confidence in their brands.

I get spammed with emails by one of their affiliates on a daily basis, I assume everyone tested for this possible cross promotion leak too?
